needs to be prepared to tape delay. Not sure what temp cutoff should be to move it but at noon sun will feel strong. We’ll heat prep for it but even training in Orlando in January probably won’t be warm enough. Don’t need perfect weather just want safe!

I’m fine with that. Abnormally warm temps have not been that unusual for many marathons the past few years.
I don’t know where we draw the line at how high above average is too hot for a noon start time though
My number one tip for all runners:
Watch race videos.
Study the sport. Study your competitors. Study how and when moves get made. Study the ways people fail and the ways they succeed. It’s the best homework there is.
