I had to do this today on arrival at Manchester Victoria. Thank you, HMHC. Rest in Rage.

For your consideration; What to do, if you're a wheelchair user on a train, it's your stop, your ramp has not shown up, and you don't particularly fancy a magical mystery tour tonight. @Tanni_GT @AnnieBtransport @flowergirl_lon @SW_Help @kingqueen3065

This is so lovely. Such nice recognition from such an excellent organisation means a lot to me. They have been enormously beneficial to me, both in their services and in their ethos, culture and people.

He was very proud of this work and his partner (correctly) believes he touched a great many people's lives with it.

But no on-board showers for disabled people. Non-disabled can get rooms with en suite toilet showers. Disabled people: no.

On a train just now, got on just ahead of another passenger with a suitcase, occupied the wheelchair space. She then sighed in frustration at not being able to put her luggage in the wheelchair space as I am occupying it.

I use the barrow crossing at Hexham Station, with ticket office staff. It is the only way to cross the line in the station. The ticket office is closing. If Journey Makers can't do the crossing, or they leave, will @northernassist pay for a taxi?

Hey @LNER Telling people needing assisted travel at York, to report to your info point, is unhelpful if the info point is closed. You keep doing this! Assisted travel is MORE important during disruption, not less. Also I can't get to your @ChangingPlaceUK loo cos cordons...

@saj_anderson @MartinSLewis Sadly it isn't necessarily illegal. There's a widespread exemption in the Equality Act for Rail vehicles. It isn't illegal to send a train out with non-working toilets, depending on how long they've been out... Immoral certainly, and discriminatory, of course.

Hey @CrossCountryUK You promised me that all the coaches doing rail replacement for you today are PSVAR compatible. So why am I sat waiting whilst two inaccessible Solus Travel coaches have left on YOUR service from Birmingham to Derby? Everybody else left and I'm still here.

I've seen documents today that make it even more apparent that Turn Up And Go is being scrapped as part of these plans.

Just watched this @RailDeliveryGrp Jacqueline Starr If you were to come out from behind your screen (laptop) could you also justify to the disabled why our right to 'turn up and go' / spontaneous travel is no longer a right under these new plans @Channel4News

Station staff refusing to put down ramps, guard being unaware of my assistance booking and so unprepared to deploy the ramp, and driver stopping the train in the wrong place thus causing a pillar to occlude the ramp, caused this @northernassist train a 5-minute delay at Hexham.

hey @SW_Help @TransreportUK @PassAssistance @RailDeliveryGrp I've got sick of your fails with wheelchair space and assistance booking. A Letter before Action: Sort it out or I will sue you in two weeks. - and that's no idle threat. @johnpringdns

Dear @SirPeterHendy @networkrail say that installing a stepped footbridge to replace this (dangerous) level crossing is OK because it isn't used by wheelchair users and isn't currently accessible. Yet I used it in my wheelchair.
