Last night we said farewell as we saw the end of an era when the very last journey was made by our MK 2 & MK 3's Sleeper cars. These carriages have seen 5 decades of service and have earned themselves a graceful retirement. 🚂💤🙏

There was a magical moment at Tulloch Station this weekend as Caledonian Sleeper’s future met the present.
Six of the new carriages were tested over the weekend, and the new carriages passed the current train as it neared the end of its overnight journey from London.
Caledonian Sleeper's New Trains bring together the best of our heritage with contemporary design.

Today it has been announced that the Scottish Government have decided to appoint a public body to operate and manage the Caledonian Sleeper.
Rest assured that this announcement has no impact to our Sleeper services which will continue as normal.

As the West Highland line reopens after upgrades, tonight saw the first MK 5 trains leave from Fort William. This means the new fleet is now in operation across our entire network!

Last night, guests travelling on the Highlander route were welcomed on board our new trains. Guests enjoyed the best that Caledonian Sleeper has to offer with luxurious club car facilities and high-quality refreshments from the new menu.
