I do not understand the Ducks’ overuse of John Gibson. He’s a franchise goalie, yes. But he isn’t going to be the difference between making and missing the playoffs this season. Ryan Miller is good, he can be better if he plays more. Even as a backup.

This improvement from the Ducks doesn’t seem like a fluke anymore. Said this on @TotallyOffsides a few weeks ago, but they are beating teams in the bottom half of the NHL and competing with the top teams. Feel like this is definitely a playoff team next year, maybe this year.

I would love to see Zegras and Comtois on the same line. I know Zegras has been playing wing in the NHL so far, but Comtois is so good in front of opponents goals and Zegras is so good at threading passes, that seems like a match made in heaven.

My uncle gave this puck to me a couple days ago. My grandparents used to go to a lot of Bruins games in the 60s and 70s. My grandmother caught this one at a game. Considering period of time it’s from, the odds it touched the stick of legends like Orr or Esposito are pretty high.
