I just finished reading Stand My Ground by Harry Dunn. Besides a personal account of his defense of the Capitol on Jan. 6 and its aftermath, this book contains an important American history lesson about the precarious progress made as a nation for civil rights. An inspiring read.

I just finished reading Hold the Line: The Insurrection and One Cop's Battle for America's Soul by Michael Fanone. It was a good read, "a page turner" for me. It's so maddening that so many Republicans want to rewrite history on the insurrection. Never forget Jan. 6.

@LakotaMan1 Thank you for providing this information. Until today I did not know that a part of the Trail of Tears had moved through Poplar Bluff, my father's birthplace, then down into Arkansas, moving incredibly close to Pocahontas, my birthplace. I was never taught this.

I just finished reading American Shield, by Aquilino Gonell. It's a really good read. The book provides powerful insight into what a patriotic immigrant of color, a veteran and dedicated public servant, faced defending the U.S. Constitution. Never forget Jan 6th! @SergeantAqGo
