One thing that makes twitter great is how it fosters one-way relationships. Just because I'm interested in what someone has to say, does not mean they are interested in what I have to say. And that's ok.
I don't expect people to follow me back, don't expect it from me.
@IBJIYONGI
Nobody has a right to commit genocide. Hard for some to grasp.
Also nobody has a right to an ethnostate, because establishing one requires genocide.
It's really not complicated. It sucks being a minority but you still don't get to commit genocide about it.
@docstobar
Yes the slaves want liberation, but the plantation owners need free labor, so it's a very difficult and complex situation... We must consider all sides, especially the plantation owners.
@JoshuaPotash
For those as confused as I am, the argument seems to be the right is anti abortion, the left is not transphobic, and somehow these are comparable.
Absolutely garbage take
@Progchamps
@lunasorcery
Bully, calling you after years to apologize:
- I'm sorry I said you were gay and a girl, it was wrong and...
You:
- actually...
@christapeterso
There's the video of burned out corpses in a car which clearly looks like it was hit by a hellfire missile. But we're expected to believe hamas set the car on fire
@chipspopandabar
I want to believe these people are joking because come on. If you are displaying the image over the internet, you are sending the image to people. If my computer can display the image, the bits are on my machine and can be copied. That's the bottom line.
@AITA_reddit
I'm actually split on this one.
Thinking "the whole hotel is booked for our conference, so the usual rules may not apply" is actually reasonable.
IMHO organizers should have cleared that up beforehand, and are the ones to blame here.
@W_R_Emory
@IanColdwater
This is scary. Does the civilian resistance have any leverage at all? Thinking city-wide strikes? Any coordinated response to the occupation? From here it looks like resistance is limited to protest, and that looks pretty hopeless.

Can't recount the times I've been asked "Why don't your have a girlfriend? You work in customer service, and lots of pretty girls come by, just hit on one!"
You can't. Under no circumstances can you take advantage of your profession to flirt. Ever.

Somebody should set up a website where they can submit their info to request an exemption from the dox. Use a domain like honey.pot
@socialistdogmom
"After the recent holocaust controversy, we are looking for people to interview amongst the guards, for a different take" would have been weird, but at this stage it would not surprise me to learn that was how some of the media reacted back then
@jonrosenberg
Nah the game will screw you over for no reason. Learn to accept death, hopefully learn a bit from you past attempt, and try again. This isn't a game you're intended to not die in, so if you get easily frustrated by dying it may no be the game for you
@ayaghanameh
They've always optimized for long term impact. It's not madness and it never was, they know a wounded, starving population cannot fight back as much. Plus they can get ways with the optics of non-fatal casualties more easily. Same for destroying key infrastructure.
@TheSylvreWolfe
@kthalps
So a blockade and siege, and a regular bombing campaigns don't count as meeting point A, B, and C?
As for the intent, we've got multiple Israeli government officials who've been pretty explicit about intent.
@vaspider
People really be like "well what's the point of stopping to be a nazi if jews won't immediately be my friends"
Like dude, it's good that your no longer a nazi, but you should understand why people are at the very least suspicious...
I hate this discourse
@socialistdogmom
Like seriously if you are media at this stage you don't interview the Nazis. You interview those who fight the Nazis and academics who research the Nazis
@OutCoil
@docstobar
The argument of complexity is often used in bad faith, to advocate for the status quo without saying it outright.
It's one thing to look at both sides, it's another to conclude that there being two sides makes the situation inherently morally ambiguous.
@nicky_NoPasaran
I found the source for the image, a YouTube video. The claims seem accurate. There is also an article in English with a translation of the narration
@plazynoodles
It's also not a valid comparison. Hostages aren't taken captive because they're perceived to have committed a crime. Hamas hasn't set up kangaroo courts to convict Israeli children of crimes to justify kidnapping. They're upfront about what they do and why.
@TheYoonz
@GenshinImpact
let's also remember that this being a gacha game, primogens aren't really worth that much in-game. You need 160 for 1 pull, which isn't guaranteed to give you anything worthwhile. You need at least 1600 to be guaranteed _something_ and that something usually won't even be good.

Honestly I just think the guy in the clearly home made costume is doing his best with limited resources, just like everyone else. And it pisses me off to see US citizens shitting on less wealthy countries. Imperialism dies hard I guess
Cheers from Bolivia!
@BigMeanInternet
I'm super annoyed at that word. It has a definition, non-state-sanctioned political violence, but is instead used for "bad violence".
Usually by people who think state violence is actually good and just.
It's become a useless word now.
@bookdellector
The allegations never made sense if you assign some level of competence to the militants. Which you have to, given what they achieved in a relatively short amount of time. I've no doubt horrible things happened, I do doubt they squandered years of preparation for petty murder.

She probably has nor forgiven herself, which is why she's so sensitive to OP's brothers bringing it up. But trying to use OP's hopefully temporary disability to get him to comply is also a huge red flag and something that must be dealt with
@TheAgentNDN
it's like all the things I knew in theory about the UN being useless, rule based order being a lie, people historically being pretty ok with genocide as it is happening, all that has become reality and while I am not caught by surprise, it is still making me angry at the world.
@afrocosmist
@badpersonclub
Oh. Oh that's why I was confused. I was thinking you both agreed, the video shows what fighting back against racists looks like so?

Can't stop laughing at this gif, also imagine a first date:
- So you're in an orchestra, what instrument do you play?
- The hammer

Road blockades is one of the most common forms of protests in my country, because it works. Protest should purposefully be inconvenient for those in power. If your protest poses no threat to public order, it can safely be ignored. So making noise is good
@MuseKat
Aren't fursuits everything NFTs pretend to be? Genuinely unique articles painstakingly crafted by talented artists, making them a unique kind of collectible that mark you as a member of a larger community? Also they have actual value and can't be right click saved
@designmom
Sometimes I read things that shift my opinion on issues. Sometimes they reinforce my opinion.
This is the first time my opinion was completely and irrevocably reversed. Armed with the knowledge that men are responsible for pregnancies, I salute you
@WALL_DY
I mean, there's video of Neely's death. That's a big part of why people are talking about it.
This is a pattern. Floyd's death would not have had such an impact were it not for the video. It's one thing to learn something happened, it's another to see someone die.
@TheGoddessEnyo
@SaeedDiCaprio
It's not important actually. Doesn't matter what they were wearing. Shooting civilians is bad whether they're wearing hijabs or not.
@ctrlshifti
This wasn't possible before NFTs because there was no way to keep track of who owned what. Databases cannot be accessed by multiple games because they get jealous
@AnaMardoll
They're not even exclusively useful to survivors. Sometime I see a warning on disturbing stories and I can decide that no, I don't have to do this to myself today.
