The US is still requiring a virus test to enter the US but not proof of vaccination. We have testing passports but not vaccine passports. Ridiculous. Vaccination is cheaper, more convenient and more effective. Vaccination should supersede any test requirement.

In Germany you can get rapid COVID tests for less than a dollar each at the supermarket. Britain hands out 14-packs for free. Canada is giving them to small employers. In the US we have approved only a handful of rapid tests and they are expensive.

Broken clock and all that but Sinema is correct. The US 1500 hour rule is too long. Europe and the UK start to permit (co)-pilots with 250 hours and it's fine. US rule before 2009 was 250 hours.

CEO pay has risen because firms are much larger now so CEO decisions matter more and there is greater competition for talent. Similarly, actors are paid more now not because they are “better” actors but because they reach more people.
