Every news report on #LongCovid needs to include the prevention dimension. Telling people how devastatingly bad LC is but not linking it to public health policy of an ongoing pandemic is no good. It’s not a tragic past. Mass infection means more LC. Put the future in there too.

Interesting item on outcome switching. @bengoldacre finds it's wide spread in major medical journals Researchers and patients have been raising this issue about #PACEtrial (Not that anyone cares about #pwME ) @TomKindlon @wilshica @johnthejack

It's worth remember that research criteria are necessarily much stricter than diagnostic criteria. I'd you didn't make it to the spit stage of @DecodeMEstudy that doesn't mean you don't have ME We'd be cross if they used criteria that were too broad.
