The community of Highland Park today lost a true legend. The man who brought us Elsa’s bakery, Don Manuel Vargas passed away this morning. HLP was blessed to get a panaderΓ­a in the 80s and we were spoiled by those sweet treats for decades. Our condolences to the Vargas family πŸ™πŸΌ

It’s with a heavy heart that we share this news today. Elsa Vargas, the owner of the former Elsa’s Bakery passed away yesterday. She was a huge part of this community and a bigger part of our families like my own. Our condolences to her family and we’ll keep them in our prayers.
