I’m deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my friend Janice,a fellow Bootletonian. I’ll miss our chats about music and bootle. Thank you for your generosity x
Rest in peace you beautiful woman.
My thoughts are with your family
Devastated to hear of Terry Halls passing. Had the pleasure of meeting him many times. There would be no Farm without the Specials.
Rest in peace Terry you are a legend.
Love to
@horacepanterart
and specials family. Xx
Tell an unpaid carer looking after someone that they are lazy. Tell someone on the minimum wage doing a 38 hour week and now facing £5k increases in energy bills they are lazy. Your toxic politics is as rotten as your soul.
Terry made a huge difference to my generation. An important change. A change that can be measured. Rest in pease sir knowing you gave inspiration to a working class youth. Thank you. X
So sad to hear that the founder of
@ProbeRecords
Geoff Davies has sadly passed away - (soon after his ex-partner Annie) - they were giants of the Liverpool music scene - may they rest in peace
My dear old friends
@RedRumClub
played a Liverpool arena last night.
I smiled so much my face hurts.
Me and
@TheFarm_Peter
watched as the band had 8000 fans singing along.
A magical night for the hardest working band ever. Well done boys you so deserved this.
Why is this allowed to happen?
Even the title ‘arms fair’ makes it sound like there’s tombola and butterfly cakes. They should call it ‘Tools for killing people market’ this should not be happening.
Wow, this is 30 today. Still hard to believe we debuted at no 1.
Some of the tracks went on to hit the top 10 around the globe too. Including a couple of number 1s.
Not a bad result at all.

Found a photo of my dog sandy. She died about 30 year’s ago. I got her for my 11th birthday. She was ace. Once ate an entire trifle while we were out. Only evidence to connect to the crime was the cloud of hundreds and thousands around her face.
My old friend and inspiration has left us. You were a huge inspiration Jaimie and changed the face of graphic design for ever. God Dave the Queen is the greatest record sleeve ever. Full stop. Rest in peace my friend x
RIP

.
It takes an extraordinary talent to be able to immediately convey an entire genre of music in a single image, or maybe the music and attitude was the sound of his visuals. Regardless, rarely has art and music worked so perfectly together and inspired so much.
My very old friend John Hodge has passed away.
We’ve been mates since my teens.
He found love and got married late in life. He always wanted to sing a clash song on stage. So we did.
Goodnight my friend.
Go easy, step lightly, stay fee
Love

If you're inconvenienced by the RMT strike please read this letter written by my daughter about the time a train guard made all the difference in the world to her.
“This is about solidarity, not charity” a poignant Swan song to Ken loach’s career, a voice that will be greatly missed in cinema. An optimistic story that shows us that even in dire circumstances human beings are good at heart and never underestimate the power of community.

Working class children have been completely abandoned by the tories. Seeds left without water and light and we all know where that ends. Who doesn’t want to enjoy a harvest, we all benefit from?
John Mellor passed away on 22 december 2002 , but Joe Strummer and his music will never die, his voice is still strong and influence who makes music .
Joe the punk War lord, Joe the poet , we miss you .

Great to catch up with
@SafeBrian
and thrilled to asked to be a patron. Bootle is where I’m from and where I was I was introduced to photography at 14 via a wonderful community arts project called art in action.This was my route to directing feature films.
The arts are important
Well this is exciting. 13 million listeners a week. We took time out to write novels, make feature films, compose soundtracks, make documentaries and educate. Then we wrote some songs again.
We're delighted to announce
