A few thoughts:
1. The article’s from a credible publication
2. It was RT’d prior to my tweeting it by many non-partisan people
3. It is based on facts - a vote in parliament
4. The CPC was given a chance to respond. They didn’t
So I stand by the tweet
Have a great weekend
“That positive reception was evident on the midway Friday afternoon. Trudeau — dressed in a white western shirt with green trim, blue jeans, cowboy boots and, of course, a white hat — was swarmed by thousands of people mugging to take a selfie with him.”
“When Poilievre pumps up the “Great Reset” theory...he knows exactly what he’s doing.
He’s sending a message to those way over on the far right who traffic in hateful, baseless theories about global conspiracies.”

Poilievre, "is so single-focused & personal in his comments, so unconstructive in his criticism, so scorched-earth in his approach to what's wrong, he is contributing to a breakdown in overall faith in the system," writes Bulgutch. “That is not healthy.”
Trudeau's not a fake feminist
“Nothing in Conservative leader Scheer’s approach induces me to believe that he &his team would be a fraction as feminist—no matter how outraged Raitt, Bergen and Rempel are....Scheer & co look like a return to the Dark Ages”
ICYMI: “Unlike any of his peers in the developed world, Trudeau managed to show 40M fellow citizens the benefits of immigration, evidenced by the economy's performance, which is another way of saying investing in Canada turned out to be the best bet yet.”
This is happening, at least in part, thanks to the support received by federal Conservative politicians.

. We must regularly talk about politicians who are not. You don’t have to look very far to know how human rights, esp abortion rights, can be taken away even in 2023. Keep speaking out. It’s not about tactics. It is about rights. Have a great day.
To answer your question...I have fought against private school tax credits since I was in public school. Private school tax credits will hurt communities by undervaluing & underfunding our public schools. Public schools in 🇨🇦 are critical to our country's success.

Late yesterday, many hours after the below tweet was posted, there was an influx of vitriol & hate of the worst kind into my feed. While I give the block & report functions a work out here is the tweet again.

CTV National News: Reopening a long-settled debate
Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada + 80 CPC MP’s voted anti-choice this week.
That’s almost 70% of the Conservative caucus that voted to remove a woman’s right to choose.

Upside to my feed being a target in the last several hours (many, many hours after the post went up) is the block & report buttons are getting a work out! Not going to stop tweeting about

Opinion: Scheer is ignoring science on issues of national importance
”From tackling climate change to adopting the Canada Food Guide, Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer is demonstrating an anti-science, anti-expertise mindset that’s deeply troubling”
“If Pierre Poilievre doesn't want to be portrayed as an authoritarian leader, maybe he should stop talking like one”

Noncommittal means cuts :
“In an interview with Radio-Canada, Poilievre was noncommittal on whether child care, dental care & pharmacare would be dismantled by a govt led by him”

Pointing out that federal conservative politicians promoted this 🎥 led to quite the response! Fact: conservative politicians screened this film on parliament hill
Fact: conservative politicians have been petitioning on the films behalf.

This is organized. This is happening. We have a chance to stop it on Monday by electing a Prime Minister who will fight for women's rights - every day.
Pro-life group recruiting staff for new MPs
“Clearly, $10-a-day child care is a life-changer for parents who can access it. So, we need governments to scale it up fast.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government is leading where the Constitution permits.”
Thread:
The data in this story isn't quite right.
Beyond forgetting that I'm a Chief of Staff (the 2nd ever to a 🇨🇦 PM that's a woman) there are 2 other women bringing us to over 40%.
While that's not quite parity it is great progress compared to where it's been. 1/2

So you've probably all heard about the new COVID app from the Canadian federal government. I was surprised initially that they were doing it given some of the concerns people have had about the UK's approach and other countries.
