@Rainbow_Silks
I don't think such a picture should be forced on a child at that age unless said child is *really* excited about dresses. I do, however, actively encourage people to dress their babies up in formal wear for kicks and giggles:
@Bornakang
Homegirl's ignoring some major red flags here. I feel bad for her. Everyone's talking about that last part but this is the look that makes it abundantly clear, imho.
I told my parents tonight and my hubby said I could tell Twitter now too. I'm too excited and I could use all the extra prayers I can get.
After 5 long, lonely, agonizing years of trying... we're officially 5 (almost 6) weeks pregnant.
I never thought I'd say those words. ๐ญโค๏ธ
@RealiaAmelia
Jsyk, you literally just made the claim that women can't be smart or have typically "masculine" interests without being trans. So many brilliant tomboys would like a word with you...
I *finally* became a member at
@Timcast
when he had Crowder on.
Alas, it wasn't meant to be.
No, I am not a bot or a paid promo for Eliza Bleu, just a disappointed fan who's growing very tired of seeing people I respect react poorly to criticism.
Here's to saving my money. ๐ป
@elizableu
Eliza, I am a simple woman who likes simple answers. I think you need a little love & encouragement right now. But before we can help you, we need you to be honest w/ us. You'll be amazed by how forgiving ppl can be when a person humbles themselves. Past doesn't dictate future.
@LeaMaric
I'm going to say it: I think millennial parents are worse than boomer parents. This is my generation doing this stuff. I also can't comprehend it because I wasn't raised in a barn. (And was reminded of that frequently.)
@mattxiv
If I had to take an educated guess, I'd say the biggest problem in this pic is that women have been completely erased. They're even sitting in a hospital bed like they themselves gave birth. It's very showy and screams "look at us!" So it's seemingly not about the babies, either.
@JoshLekach
It's not that bad. A starter home, a home for an older couple, or even affordable housing for those working their way up from homelessness- all good things.
@MelonieMac
All I can think about while watching this stuff is that if some of me & my hub's worst fights were recorded, ppl would have a lot to say about us too. This brought us a bit closer, tbh. We discussed how we should always mind our words & lean into one another when life gets hard.
@cupidyohane
@galatichild
The youtube kids section has been promoting poop-related "porn" for kids for years. Look up Elsagate, but beware- it's a disturbing rabbit hole.
@HumansNoContext
I already confessed this sin to God w/ genuine shame so I can confess it here too. A few yrs ago I was ringing stuff up @ self-checkout & when I looked back at the screen, only 2-3 things had actually *rung up* from my full basket despite the boops I heard. So I just paid & left.
@sovereignbrah
I think you missed the biggest one- the Standard American Diet. Even trad couples trying to conceive are having a hard time and I think itโs largely due to partaking in unhealthy/fast foods with preservatives that are literally poisoning us all.
@cryptotraveler
Going to a comedy show- my hubby and I were one of the last to arrive. We were told to put on masks for the walk to our seats. We went down a long hall alone, masked. Got to the packed audience where we were allowed to remove our masks to eat/drink/laugh. WHY? WHAT WAS THE POINT?
@RealiaAmelia
You did though. I'm a woman who has always admired Margaret Hamilton, as a fellow "nerd" and science lover. Am I trans-coded? Because that's what you seem to think.
Or are you just calling her ugly? That's an even worse interpretation of your claim. Explain it.
@abike1999
That kid talking about calming his dad over a broken dish blew my mind because if we so much as spilled our milk as kids, we'd get BERATED. It's no wonder I grew up having a hard time managing my anger.
@DelusionPosting
She does look very young. I googled her age the other day because I too thought people might be sexualizing a minor. I was pleased to see they were not but still felt weird about it.
@theyorkshirejo
This is why I was ticked about that one menswear kit. It was so feminine. Like, no, I want my Sims to have grungy middle-aged dad clothes.
@DuckieLouise
Nope. Some ppl are afraid of hurting the baby, some get depressed when holding babies due to infertility issues, some just aren't in the mood to hold someone else's baby atm. It is not a reflection on how they feel about the baby or the mom. NO ONE is obligated to hold your baby.
@transwomyn
As someone with legit PMS, I feel violently angry right now, watching someone make a joke out of the worst thing about womanhood. It's something this person will never actually experience, nor would they WANT to experience if they really KNEW.
@LauraFlowD
@_B___S
I've always wondered if this is how wolves got domesticated too. They couldn't help themselves... the people kept giving them good food and scritches. I believe that might've been all it took.
@Timcast
I am 100% certain I can make a compelling libertarian argument that'll finally change your mind from being pro-choice. See: the NAP. The future is pro-life, my guy. Either all human beings deserve equal rights or they don't.
@river_is_nice
Yeah, Fruit of the Loom is just gaslighting us. We all saw it. There's no way we all mass-hallucinated an incredibly specific cornucopia.
@igarglewithfire
As someone who has been suffering from infertility for 5+ years, I have been pressured into IVF by those around me. When I explain my moral objections to IVF, I am met with incredulous looks from ppl who don't understand that I'm choosing God's will over my own selfish desires.
@kelly_cadigan
No, it's not prejudice. A "mother" is a female parent. You're not a female.
And as I mentioned in other tweets to you, it's important to note that you could never relate to your daughter's girlhood or female puberty the way a biological woman can. Girls need FEMALE guidance.
@RealiaAmelia
Sooo women can't be computer programmers unless they're trans?
Long hair and glasses? "Must really be a man." That's why it sounds like you're calling her ugly, like so many middle school bullies do.
You have no idea how fucking insulting you're being to real women.
@ambercfischer
Catholic here. There is no reason to think Mary and Joseph didn't have a typical marriage. This is one of those rules Catholics made up in direct contradiction to the Bible. I disregard it just as I disregard the infallibility of the Pope because only Christ is perfect. ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
@MattWalshBlog
Would you ever have someone like
@MsBlaireWhite
on your show? Or do you reject her identity as well?
Hate using this word, but this is gatekeeping conservatism. Most of us truly aren't trying to get involved in other people's lives. We just want kids to be protected.
@iWomansplainer
Idolatry would be assuming that Mary is herself God who can perform miracles and therefore praying to her for anything but intercession. If you hear a Catholic starting a prayer with "In the name of the Father, the Mother, and the Son" or something, that would be very bad.
@PlaySimsYT
I'm shocked by what the gurus seem not to know. I watch videos sometimes and they'll openly say "I had no idea u could do this!" and it's something so basic... It happens a lot and drives me nuts.
*I* could be a Sim guru and I've only been playing for a year.
@EP_AnimalLovers
@dailyXmatter
The problem is, he tried to explain it like they had brains in their heads. You have to explain it like they're 5. "Look for the TESLA CHARGING STATION. Use this attachment and sit there for about 15 minutes while your car charges. That'll get you home."
@TheOnlyGuru
It's so extremely insulting to think that this is how these perverts view women in general. They get off to thinking they're women because they get off to the idea that we (and they) are just weak, submissive "holes," like we're all just a bunch of blow-up dolls.
@realshekinahh
@NicoleArbour
I respect your beliefs in this regard. I remember a time when I used to say "it's not like they're going to push LGBT propaganda onto children!" and boy was I wrong. The slippery slope is real. Lines must be drawn somewhere. BUT I DO think you can be gay *and* conservative.
@lporiginalg
This is true though- seeds and such in the hair for people traveling the Underground Railroad. I read about it in a biography about Harriet Tubman. And there was no left-wing political bias to this book. In fact, it painted Christians and Republicans in a very good, honest light.
@ML_Philosophy
Make him fall in love with her while having no intention of loving him back and instead using him for personal gain and/or toying with his emotions for sport until she's done with him.
@lysistrata327
We're not oblivious. Many of us *are* women. We just happen to believe that these emergency situations do not justify the vast majority of abortions that are done just because a woman doesn't "feel ready" to be a mom. We care about the babies in question equally as much.
My greatest weakness is my sharp tongue. I pray about it EVERY SINGLE DAY. I know it. My husband knows it. I can always work on being more charitable, but I wonโt ever be perfect. Just know that this is a very difficult week for me, so please give me some grace.
@RealiaAmelia
Logically, wouldn't it make more sense, then, to just acknowledge she is a super cool biological woman? If men want to transition into women like her, SHE'S not ANYTHING "coded." She's an OG real woman who broke the mold for other women and maybe INSPIRED transwomen, at best.
It annoys me when pro-choicers compare abortion to ectopic pregnancy removal & miscarriage. Those things aren't a "CHOICE" to kill your baby.
If abortion is so great, why conflate it w/ different things? Stand by your procedure. Abortion is the WILLFUL termination of pregnancy.
@Savannah_FDS
I can only say what I heard from the elderly in the nursing home I volunteered at and other older people online. From the childless seniors I've heard from, almost all regret not having kids. Those who don't were severely depressed/ill and were grateful "not to be a burden." ๐
@DDsulzbach
It's true. For all the ridiculousness that came out of that fiasco, I really think this moment was the final humiliating nail in Onion Boy's coffin. I watched your beef for years and it ended PERFECTLY and HILARIOUSLY.
@_BRCooper
@Cernovich
Thought experiment for people who think this is any kind of valid argument:
You run into a burning Shoprite and have the choice of saving your daughter or your mom.
Remember: whichever one you don't choose must not be a human with value. ๐
@PatriarchySammi
Anti. Majorly. I'm horrified by the casual normalization of male genital mutilation in our society that comes purely out of tradition.
Like, to think men have had to just accept they're missing a sensitive piece of themselves and they had no say in the matter at all? So wrong.
@dafrogisfrog
@DelusionPosting
Genuine question for you. No jokes, no sarcasm, no gotchas. Just curious.
Is the absence of pride inherently homophobic, in all cases?
For example: If no LGBT people live in a house, and there are no symbols of pride on or around the house, is that inherently homophobia?
@TheKelliAmirah
Kinda heartless to not care that your friend's abortion trauma won't be erased by cake. It's not exactly going to the hair salon and coming out looking and feeling like a million dollars. She killed her baby. She'll be thinking about that baby long after you moved on.
@_B___S
Vets are amazing. My dogs love our vet, even my anxious/aggressive dog. Some people are dog whisperers, I swear to God. My dogs happily trot into the vet's office in a way I never expected.
@NeverTrumpTexan
@Timcast
There is no need to kill the baby to save the mom at that point. We're talking about two patients here. Either way she's giving birth, and that baby undeniably feels pain.
@allegedlyangelo
Look man, no one likes that Nick and Eugenia are on opposite ends of the "slowly killing themselves for fame and fortune" spectrum, but we all have to accept that there is nothing any of us can do. People choose their paths and neither of them is going to listen to randos online.
@DuckieLouise
"If a mother asks if you want to hold her baby, you say YES."
^This is making the claim that people are obligated to hold someone else's baby. There will ALWAYS be reasons for people saying "no." I'm just saying to respect their choice- and don't assume their intentions, either.
@DatingCoachLex
@CensoredMen
My husband asked me to marry him one night after dinner while sitting in his truck outside the restaurant. It was the BEST.
@bocxtop
@_CallmeShelly_
Vaccinated people can still give others COVID. In fact, everyone at Obama's birthday party were apparently vaccinated, and there were 74 new cases of COVID in Martha's Vineyard afterward. (A huge uptick.)
@OwenBenjamin
The only people who think Christians are supposed to be perfect are non-Christians. Christians know they're not, which is why they need Christ, their savior.
@RedPillReporter
@ClownWorld_
Hate to be the one to inform you, but this is a fetish. Forget exactly what it's called, but they get off to making messes. That's why everything has to ooze out of the waffle machine like that too.
@goddeketal
So there was this moment on March 13, 2020, when I was looking around my glorious new office at the aquarium and said, "see ya in a few weeks, fishies!"
I'd go back to that moment and tell myself and everyone there not to fall for any of it b/c we were all about to lose our jobs.
@Christojt
@ambercfischer
Yes. You can call me a bad Catholic if you want. But the church has an obligation to adhere to the Bible, not the rules of man. By rejecting this ridiculous declaration, I am promoting truth within my own church. My rejection of bad doctrine is righteous. I stand by it.
@JCAKE12
I used to believe in the rape exception until Ben Shapiro changed my mind about it in one of his longer videos one day. He worded things in just the right way and it finally clicked in my head. Some ppl need to hear it said a few times in a few different ways before they get it.
@secularprolife
I realized my beliefs completely disregarded the innocent life being lost. I had to either embrace scientific reality and all its implications or deny it and make claims based on lies that I wanted to be true. I'm not built to lie- truth matters more to me than feelings.
@stxpdx
@stillgray
No, donโt bother. I tried to help someone like that who admitted to being assaulted and she did not care. Not only did she not care, but she thought my concern- and eventually my friendship- was just getting in the way of what she wanted to do.
@Ref0rmedDEGEN
@uncledoomer
There is legitimacy to this. Shrooms once MADE me colorblind. I completely lost the ability to see red for a day. My bright red shirt looked like a muted green/brown. That was the trippiest thing of all, because the greens and blues intensified as well. Itโs all about the mind.
@pyrotarkus
@RealCandaceO
This is surely satire. I don't believe anyone actually believes this. Even my incredibly liberal, Biden-voting side of the family would cringe at this argument, knowing full well that none of these bullet points are true. MAYBE they'd agree with the last one. MAYBE.
