Was lucky enough to interview Pele. Dallas airport on way to Mexico World Cup. Brazil+NI in same pool. He spent a lot of the interview talking about his admiration for George Best. I'll never forget Pele's polite charm and graciousness. What a man. What a player @BillNeelyReport

Ah Pelé. I watched him, mesmerised, as an 11 year old @ 1970 World Cup. He was part of the most brilliant tournament goal in the classic Final. I never met him & was envious of my great colleague @markaustintv who interviewed him. He was 20 times the man the ailing Pope is. RIP.
