SCOTUS: We are returning the power to regulate abortion to the states. Blue Governors: This ruling changes nothing, we will still run our state exactly as we see fit SCOTUS: um... yes. Yes, that's exactly what we just said. And now Mississippi gets to do that too.

Let me be very clear: This ruling changes nothing in Minnesota today, tomorrow, or as long as I am governor. We will not turn back the clock on reproductive rights.

They arrested and convicted pro-life protestors for sitting in front of an abortion clinic. They face up to 11 years in jail These protestors will not face that retribution not b/c this isn't illegal but b/c the people in charge approve of it

Pro-Palestine protesters vandalize and deface a US Military Cemetery in Los Angeles where 85,000 war veterans are buried. They need to be arrested and the non citizens need to be deported. This is completely unacceptable. Where are the police?

Not that Joe Rogan would listen to me, but yes. He absolutely should sue CNN. And NPR and ABC and every outlet that said he was taking horse dewormer. He should sue each one for $100 million and I hope he wins. B/c they will not stop lying until they feel pain for their lies.

I've little patience for anyone who says "oh this is a nothingburger" Twitter's top executives lied. They lied to their users, they lied to Congress, and it is now a proven certainty twitter acted on requests from political actors to suppress speech that's a big deal

6. Twitter denied that it does such things. In 2018, Twitter's Vijaya Gadde (then Head of Legal Policy and Trust) and Kayvon Beykpour (Head of Product) said: “We do not shadow ban.” They added: “And we certainly don’t shadow ban based on political viewpoints or ideology.”

I've now read a couple of sober pieces (Facebook posts, emails) from friends and colleagues who are effectively anti-Israel and now I think I understand the "tearing down posters" thing a bit better. They absolutely refuse to acknowledge what happened on Oct 7th.

If these protestors are not arrested, it's proof we live in a country of partisan injustice where the left can commit violence without fear of arrest There were pro-life protestors who did this but more peacefully and they were arrested and face 11 years in prison

Yeah, it would be really bad if the Journalism Bots swarmed to make false accusations against, say, a high school student from Covington being confronted by an activist, and you didn't get the real story until honest humans reported the truth

People cheer on media layoffs but don’t come crying when your local AI fake news bot starts falsely reporting you were arrested for something and you get fired and there are no real journalists left to cover your plight! Or when there’s a local disaster or corruption!

I feel like I'm losing my mind a little: people understand that "occupying buildings on campus" is, like, one of the most common forms of studen protest for decades and not some devious new ploy devised by professional anarchist plotters, right?

I don't care about the Senate dress code one way or the other, but I have yet to see anyone explain *why* Fetterman can't just dress in a suit and tie Is he refusing to do so? Is he not capable of functioning if he's not wearing casual clothes? Both those options seem bad

I would be in favor of state or federal law that says that, if a company wishes to fire an employee based off a viral video clip, they must pay 6 months severance and issue a press release saying they are liable for $1 million per month in lost pay if they got it wrong
