some folk claim all this "started" with Savile. I think Savile was a desperate attempt to popularise via celebrity demonization the idea that someone could "get away with it". This would then serve to diminish those ordinary folk seeking to fight iniquitous & #injustice

In order to understand how Nick has been getting away with it, you have to understand that Nick is not his real name, nor is Stephen, but as a camp follower for the cops in #OperationYewtree , he could say what he liked and be who he wanted to be.

@misapelater @kerrya11en recall being in a UK airport in March 2020 and there were office-printed A4 "signs" sellotaped on walls everywhere, advising "us" to wash our hands often and thoroughly. I went in every single gents toilet and not a single one of them had any soap left in the dispensers 😂
