The myth that stoicism is a male trait when women endure shame around virginity, menstruation, childbirth, breastfeeding and menopause + socially conditioned to suffer in silence 🙃
"He wanted a girlfriend and he's got no social skills and he was frustrated out of his brain," he added, when asked about why his son may have targeted women.
Man: I want to talk to you
Woman: leave me alone
Man: I’m allowed to keep talking to you because it’s in public
Woman: I’m asking again to leave me alone
Man: I’m entitled to talk to you
Woman: I’ve asked you twice now to leave me alone
This is harassment. Whether online or not
In my school mum group, we all have daughters. Every single one of them has been sat next to the “naughty boy” bc they’re sensible and will have a good influence on them.
This makes me rage.
Josie (6 years old), Bertha (6 years old) and Sophie (10 years old) worked regularly at the Maggioni Canning Company.
Work began at 4 AM, and the three would make from $9 to $15 a week.
Sophie would do six pots of oyster a day, and her mother, who also worked with her,
So yesterday, I reported a paedophile on
@tiktok
- a man who has openly said he’d date as young as 8. No violation according to TikTok. Tell me you’re a safe platform again?
“This societal blind spot to male violence is nothing new….yet we resist labelling attacks against women as terror’, seemingly preferring instead to portray them as lone-wolf acts of violence caused by poor mental health.”
My (first) piece for Metro
One of the biggest myths about gender stereotypes is that men are taught to be stoic but women aren’t. Speak to any teenage girl + you’ll see what they “suck up” and normalise abuse on a daily basis
Men are not harmed by feminism.
Men are not harmed by feminism.
Men are not harmed by feminism.
Men are not harmed by feminism.
The pain you feel is your sense of entitlement being challenged.
The fact that people believe the cure for incels is getting them a girlfriend rather than teaching them how to unhate women sums up society’s concern for women’s safety.
Society: Women - to stop being attacked you just need to:
👍🏼 Call someone
👍🏼 Stay in groups
👍🏼 Don’t go out after dark
👍🏼 Ask for Angela
👍🏼 Cover your drinks
👍🏼 Charge your phone
👍🏼 Not get drunk
👍🏼 Carry keys
👍🏼 Take a taxi
👍🏼 Walk a different route
👍🏼 Get a lift
@metpoliceuk
I’ll await further clarification of his previous crimes of indecent exposure in 2015 & why he was allowed to continue in this job. People don’t just start murdering women - his behaviour should have been challenged way before he was allowed to murder Sarah 💔
The real trial by social media:
If you report burglary: you’re a victim
If you report fraud: you’re a victim
If you report theft: you’re a victim
If you report assault: you’re a victim
If you report rape: you’re a liar
It is not misandrist to say that most violence is perpetrated by men. It is a global fact.
The quicker men get on board and help in the fight against male violence, the safer the world would be for us all.
THAT is my “agenda”.
Women being wary of men isn’t misandry.
Whether it’s being anxious about going on a first date, walking alone in the dark, being intimidated by groups of guys, certain situations making them feel uncomfortable.
These are usually based on real-life experiences, not hatred.
It’s finally got to the point where I’m sending lists of abusive men’s profiles to my partner in case something happens to me. That’s how women have to behave because they speak about male violence.
Police being informed today too.
Solidarity to everyone who experiences this.
Targeted hatred and violence towards a religious group: hate crime
Targeted hatred and violence towards a race: hate crime
Targeted hatred and violence towards women: mental illness
See the problem yet?
#maleviolence
Let me get this straight:
1. Woman reports rape
2. Suspect isn’t interviewed
3. Police lie about footage showing she wasn’t
4. Woman is forced to retract allegation
5. Police charge woman for false reporting
Is this the fucking world we live in?
#victimsuspect
@netflix
This is a classic example of what happens when male entitlement is challenged.
He didn’t expect to be jailed because using women as commodity is not only normalised, it’s encouraged.
Explain the difference between him and Tate?
FYI
MOST women are raped by someone they know
MOST rapes happen when women are sober
MOST rapes happen when women dress modestly
ALL rapes are the rapist’s fault
Women: male violence is an issue
MRAs: prove it
Women: OK, here’s crime data
MRAs: you can’t use crime data
Women: OK, here’s a survey
MRAs: not reliable
Women: here’s some research
MRAs: academia is full of feminists
Women: OK, here’s lived experiences
MRAs: women lie
🙃
Secondly, what exactly is this teaching our girls? That THEY are responsible for the behaviour of the boys. It is THEIR job to keep them under check and that’s the role of a female.
This kind of gender stereotype pervades our classrooms. It needs to stop.
Firstly, girls, especially quiet, placid girls should NEVER be used as a behaviour tool in the classroom. Teachers are taking advantage of their good nature to avoid dealing with the actual problem.
From my research, I estimate around 7-10% of the female population simply do not engage with activities after dark due to feelings of unsafety.
I wonder why nobody has ever calculated the cost to the economy from this lack of engagement from women to jobs, exercise, socialising?
To all survivors:
If you didn’t tell the police
If you didn’t tell your friends
If you didn’t tell the media
If you didn’t tell anyone
We still believe you ❤️
@lorrainemking
I’m so ashamed this is in Essex (very near to where UKIP held a seat). I’d like to think the residents would boycott this awful place and hideous owners 🤬
Male entitlement is at the root of male violence.
Men who believe they are entitled to women; their bodies and ultimately their lives take back final control through violence.
We are breeding this.
@DeniseDT
@karenwhybro
Having a toxic ex = assault, rapist, etc. Yet we all know this is the only type of guy they like. He's not a rapists, he's just a player, and she got played. Hoe math had a good video on how women really do prefer situationships over relationships.
If I tweeted every time a rape was reported in England and Wales, you’d see 191 posts from me, every day of the year.
If I tweeted for the estimated rate it’s actually happening at, I’d be tweeting every two minutes, every day of the year.
That is how bad it is.
Remembering the poor men whose lives have been ruined by allegations of abuse:
Woody Allen
Charlie Sheen
Chris Brown
Josh Homme
Tony Robbins
Mel Gibson
Dr Dre
Ben Affleck
Casey Affleck
Sean Penn
Christian Slater
Roman Polanski
Oh wait…
Some people seem to think that pointing out 80% of violence is perpetrated by men is the same as saying 80% of men are violent.
I get stats can be tricky but please try to think first.
~2,500 men were convicted of rape in 2022.
~300,000 women were raped.
If you are more worried about men being falsely accused than women being raped, your maths is terrible.

One of the biggest manipulated stats MRAs use is that male suicide is often linked to domestic abuse. What they fail to make clear is that the men are predominantly the PERPETRATORS of DA in those suicides + are often preceded by murder by the man involved.
A man just suggested that I use a softer tone when I talk about women’s safety and am less sarcastic.
To which I say “I’m so sorry, sweetheart, but sit down, the grown ups are talking”.
Keeping women small, afraid, on-guard, cautious is all part of a culture where men can then use a woman’s behaviour against them to avoid accountability.
Been harassed? What were you wearing?
Been attacked? Why were you alone?
Been abused? Both as bad as each other
The fact that whether sex with someone while they’re sleeping is actually a crime is still being argued by men and “researchers” on here shows how far we still have to go
I get accused a lot of “fear mongering” and making women scared of men.
Funnily enough, not only is that not my objective but it’s also not necessary. Every single survey done shows that women are scared on their own in public after dark.
What do you think they’re scared of?
Why don’t victims report?
📣 Humiliation/shame
📣 Fear of not being believed
📣 Process of reporting is traumatic
📣 Fear of retaliation
📣 Power imbalance
📣 Victim-blaming
All of the above on display today ☝🏼

Absolutely utterly sick of men telling women they shouldn’t be scared, shouldn’t be angry, are too touchy, are hysterical, are misandrists for having concern over the very real threat to their safety.
Male violence.
Men’s feelings do not matter more than women’s safety.
Since doing this work, I’ve had death threats, told I should have my ovaries cut out, been called a narcissist, a sociopath, r*tard, that I should have my child taken into care, that I’m a child abuser, old, ugly and all the other “cat lady” comments
Men on here have got angrier and angrier at me for talking about misogyny and male violence, and it’s always clear to see the orchestrated attack by MRAs, probably whipped up by some of my constant stalkers.
The level of hatred is alarming but not surprising.
#maleviolence
My hairdresser told me last week that she has numerous clients tell her their husbands won’t “let them” have a particular hairstyle.
It made me think about the initiative I heard a few years back about hairdressers having training to spot

victims.
Anyone who really believed
#amberheard
got a fair hearing + doesn’t deserve a retrial needs to have a proper rethink about the power imbalance in society rn. I’ve heard “feminists” claim, with no evidence at all, that she was the abuser. It shows such little understanding of DA.
I can’t read anymore comments tonight. I work in this field and thought I’d seen the worst kind of rape apologies + denials. It all goes to show how far we still have left to go.
#RussellBrand
People so regularly confuse being single with being lacking in options. Getting a man is easy. Finding a man who is self-reflective and kind is another matter.
It’s a good time to bust some myths:
📣 Only 5% of abuse is reported AT the time
📣 Majority of victims freeze and do not fight back
📣 Powerful people are supported by silence of others
📣 Rape mostly happens in relationships
I see “academics” argue that women want to be choked based on tiny samples from self-reporting surveys while entirely overlooking the fact that pornography has normalised violence as part of sex.
Given 1/3 women experience sexual assault, can this research can ever be justified?
The reason so much of the public also leans into the “not all men” narrative when presented with male violence is because we have never truly centred women’s experience. People don’t want to believe how rampant misogyny and male violence is.
Who’s to blame for Andrew Tate?
Apparently:
Women cos they’re all the teachers
Women cos they’re single mothers
Women cos they’re all the academics
Women cos they’re all the role models
Sounds like you men have a problem stepping up + sorting your boys out to me
I spoke about institutional gaslighting at a conference yesterday because, as women, we’ve been informed by authority bodies that we can avoid being rape victims by following a few simple rules.
And if we don’t. I guess it’s our fault.
Anyone who denies the gender aspect to violence against women and girls needs to seriously think about this.
It is clear that women should fear their male partners more than strangers. Something is very wrong with the way we perceive love
"The Army investigation found her boss, who, like everyone in the report, is not named, wanted a relationship with her but she had a boyfriend and did not reciprocate his feelings.
It describes how in October 2021 her boss sent her more than 1,000 WhatsApp messages + voicemails
Why is domestic abuse gendered?
Let’s not forget, domestic abuse is not the same as PARTNER abuse.
The reason domestic abuse is gendered is because it’s perpetrated mainly by men, with the vast majority of victims being women.
The fact so many men claim women are “hysterical” or “playing the victim” when they report harassment or abuse goes to show exactly why this has to be considered gendered.
They have no idea what it’s like as a woman speaking out against male violence.
I passed my first annual review of my PhD today and I’m proud.
I study part-time alongside running my consultancy and raising my daughter alone.
It’s not easy but I will not stop until women get a fairer deal in this shitty world.
My partner’s friend gave a character reference for another friend accused of rape. My partner fell out with his friend over it. He says he would never provide a character reference because how could he know if he’d done it?
And he’s right, of course.
He was convicted btw.
I’m very pleased to see the prosecution using these words:
“The jury at his trial heard the incident on 1 June was the ‘ultimate act of control’.”
Too many times, a domestic murder is described as a “loss of control” when, in fact, it’s the ultimate act of control.
35% of reported domestic abuse victims are men.
The majority of domestic abuse against men is by other men.
For domestic homicide, it’s around 66% male victims killed by other men in the family.
