Male entitlement is at the root of male violence. Men who believe they are entitled to women; their bodies and ultimately their lives take back final control through violence. We are breeding this.

@karenwhybro And it is enabled by LE & courts who refuse to intervene sooner & who downplay women’s valid concerns about safety when they are stalked, threatened or abused during, and especially after ending, a relationship.

@karenwhybro And men are dismissing it, using it as a context weapon, and enjoying it too. Receipts in your mention🤮

@karenwhybro Laurence Fox is your man. He does not feel entitled to women's bodies. Yet, feminism crucified him for it.

@karenwhybro Mens violence against women is well documented, the domestic violence figures in the UK are available to all to see. I can't speak to entitlement, but it is worth looking at the murder rates (men killing women), rape statistics and of course the domestic violence rates.

@karenwhybro It’s so telling how many anonymous accounts are under all your posts with a ‘not all men’ tone. So telling that they’re anonymous, victim-blaming and making it all women’s fault when anything happens. It’s as though men aren’t brave enough to confront the reality of #MVAWG .

@karenwhybro Sigh. Tiresome. BOTH men and women can do better but saying that might get some kicked of the reservation. Behind every abusive man, there probably was a lot of dysfunction to bring him there. Since for the first 5 years moms are raising men, maybe women share in this?

@karenwhybro Very true. But my experience over the last couple of years has opened my eyes to the role women in enabling/contributing to the feeling of entitlement. For ex. this article by a female psychotherapist & relationship expert is at best fantastical.

@karenwhybro Patriarchy trap. Sets men up to measure their self worth by the properties they own. Size of their cars, size of their houses, people they "own".
