@RachelNotley You should take this down. This is exactly kind of stuff that will hand next election to UCP. Education is about teaching critical thinking not left wing indoctrination. People should learn reading, writing, and math and let individuals form own opinions on this.

#1MillionMarch4Chidren is not about parental rights or protecting children. It is pure transphobia. No group no matter how unpopular they are should face discrimination and sadly far too many are pushing bigotry against transgendered people and its time to push back.

@TomPark1n US is a safe country and they are not at war or have human rights violations. If one was coming by sea from a war torn country that is one thing but if you read signs at border they say clearly it is illegal to enter Canada without going through a port of entry.

NDP should put pressure on Liberals to speak with remaining 8 provinces about amending CPP act to ban provinces from withdrawing. Its time for feds to step in and protect Albertans and Canadians from people like Smith.

Hard-working Canadians contributed to the CPP. This is not Smithโ€™s money. This is not the Conservativesโ€™ money. This money belongs to Canadians. When will Pierre Poilievre come clean with Canadians? Does he support Smiths terrible plan or not? Canadians deserve to know!

@stephen_taylor Reform yes and perhaps cut, but not defund. Every single G7 country and most OECD countries have a public broadcaster. Now I would support switching to licencing fees like BBC as BBC is head & shoulders above CBC.

@CTVNews I think better solution is have vaccine passports. If we had those we could re-open it those who are fully vaxxed while keep closed to everyone else. And hopefully that would encourage more to get vaccinated.

Just mailed in my CPC ballot. Put @PeterMacKay as 1st choice, @ErinOTooleMP as second and @LeslynLewis as third. Didn't rank Derek Sloan. Hope MacKay is next leader and next PM while hope O'Toole and Lewis get cabinet roles in a MacKay led govt.

Conservatives like to claim they are party of freedom but actual record shows they are worst on it at least in sense of who has more charter violations. Could it be just be freedom is a broad term and no agreed upon view and Conservative view of freedom doesn't jive with our law

@CanadianPolling No surprise. Canada is a left wing country so while I am a No, I at least unlike most conservatives realize this is what Canadians want. I don't think many on right understand just how left wing Canada is.

@Aadeelnrx34 Horrible idea. Municipalities should have right to have stricter rules. Fact is its mostly Rural Alberta that wants no rules. Calgary & Edmonton believe in following public health which is loosen as cases fall but do so gradually and do based on data not ideology.

I think Poilievre meeting with Diaglon guys was stupid and this is type of stuff that whether costs him politically or not is stupid. He may have not known who the group is, but anyone with good political instincts would probably guess they are fringe types you stay away from.

@fordnation I am all for free speech, but this is unnecessary meddling in internal affairs which govt should stay out of. Also hate speech is not free speech so banning hatemongers like Faith Goldy is perfectly a reasonable limit as even our charter in section 1 says.

Seen mainstreet riding polls and if true, Pierre Poilievre will have a lot of explaining to do, but results sort of play to my idea he is too right wing and despite topline national numbers I think he is in far worse shape than national polls suggest.

Thansk for giving me another reason not to vote Liberal. Canadians are living longer so a higher retirement age makes sense. Most developed countries with similar life expectancies have raised to 67 or plan to including social democracies in Europe

When Pierre Poilievre and Stephen Harper were in power, they raised the retirement age to 67. We reversed their reckless policy, lowering it back to 65 and boosting payments for seniors โ€“ because when Conservatives try to make cuts, Liberals will always have your back.
