@ChessProblem her rating is 2420, she played an event, averaged 2569; my understanding of things is that one can be just grateful for the invitation in such case and not complain that her/his games attract not enough attention; but the trend in chess is that women must complain all the time 🙄

So, @nigelshortchess was punished by the #FIDE Ethics Commission for telling truth about the US Virgin Islands Chess Fed. Then he resigned as the FIDE VP. Well, FIDE is consistent at least: their officials are not famous for telling the truth, the truth tellers should be punished

Congrats to @rajachess with winning #FIDEWorldCup ! A missed chance for Ding Liren in the decisive blitz game was to play after 22.c3? (D) 22...Qc7!! -/+ (threatening ...b6), and if 23.exd5 exd5 24.Rxd5? b6! 25.Qc4 Qf7! -+, etc. Really hard to find!

Well, I got a kind of feedback from GM Elisabeth Paehtz as she has blocked my twitter; I sincerely hope that she is also blocking some Russians, to make us Ukrainians and Russians suffer comparably (what she apparently likes) at least in this respect.
