's Qc2?? blunder in
#Chess9LX
The online blitz with premoves allowed can be good for making circus/idiocy, but it's NOT good for chess as an intellectual game with its fundamental rule to move only after your opponent made the move.
I understand that prevomes will never disappear from the chess playing zones, but can be there
#bullet
(with premoves allowed) and
#blitz
(without premoves) divided clearly?! And no premoves in the
#rapid
, indeed.

I can do what I want, it doesn't matter that much (most often I wasn't using premoves, had turned them off, now think that my opponents maybe shouldn't have such an advantage) but in tournaments with the world's top players it would be nice not to see all this premoves nonsense!

With or without pre-moves online chess is very close to cybersport. Kasparov should have known that wireless mouse with low battery is prone to slipping.

In a world where everything is being policed I'm not in favour of yet one more arbitrary rule. If you don't want to tie your own hands by using pre-moves, don't.

You hate to see it but that's part of the game, particularly in blitz. Kasparov mouse-slipping like that is unfortunate, but ultimately on him. I also don't see what's wrong with premoves as a concept?
