It won’t be QE, it will be “restoring financial stability”. It won’t be YCC, it will be “fixing market dysfunction”. It won’t be a bail-out, it will be “exigent & unusual circumstances”. It won’t be indefinite debt monetization, it will be “a targeted, limited intervention”.

The idea of a bi-polar or multi-polar trading system just doesn’t accord with reality. China *dominates* trade even more than the U.S. did at its post-WW2 peak. This is an uncomfortable fact with which western geoeconomic strategy must reckon. We can’t live in a fantasy…

If MSTR is added to the S&P500, index funds have to buy it according to its market weight, which boosts its price, which increases the MSTR premium allowing Saylor to issue more equity & debt to buy more BTC, which makes BTC go up, which increases MSTR & index weight, etc… 🤔

In 1945, Treasury Secretary Morgenthau set a cash reporting threshold of $10,000 to combat black marketeering during WW2. This threshold was codified & broadened in the Bank Secrecy Act in 1972 & never changed. W/ inflation, that $10K would equate to a ~$175K threshold today.
