Until recently, one of the female parkrun age group records held by a male was FASTER than the male record in the same age gp at the same parkrun. This is the level of piss-taking by men who say they are women that women have suffered. I hope people understand why we are angry.

On over 130 separate occasions, the “1st Female” achievement at parkrun has gone to a man who says he’s a woman. Every sports body and event, including parkrun, needs to get men out of the female category. The achievements of females MATTER. #SaveWomensSports

parkrun have banned a female runner called “No To Unfair Self ID”, erasing her record & 1st Female finish. But any bloke calling himself Jane or Emily can register as ‘female’ even if a false name & take female records. Makes perfect sense, if you discriminate against females.
