I have received the "remedy" judgement in my case.
@cgdev
has been ordered to pay over £100k in compensation for loss of earnings, injury to feelings and aggravated damages for their high-handed conduct.
Thank-you to everyone who supported my case
@adamdavidson
I lost my job for saying that women are female, and men can not become women.
I can attest that losing your job and being unpersonned from the sector you used to work in is not just a feeling
For reference, this is the individual whose precious feelings are more important than truth, according to some of his fellow men. If you think women calling this person a man is more offensive than him publicly fantasising about kidnapping women, I can't help you.
Using words like “genocide” -- about fair cycling rules -- is profoundly offensive to the descendants of Jews who died in concentration camps, Tutsis murdered in Rwanda, Muslims in Srebrenica.
@polblonde
Thanks to JK Rowling's brave and unexpected intervention people are talking about my case around the world. I have had so much support &💜. I'll let you know about my next steps & what that is going to take in due course. But in the meantime...there are other women using the law
@MargaretAtwood
Dear Margaret Atwood
I have seen you getting terrible abuse for posting articles that question gender ideology.
Now I see you trying to avoid that abuse by posting a video that attacks JK Rowling and attacks me with false accusations. I am so disappointed that you would do this
Do you ever feel like this new "be kind" intersectional identity-bases feminism isn't all it's cracked up to be, but just another way to put women in their place? 🤨
Yes! We won. All the important bits. I was discriminated against by
@CGDev
because of my beliefs.
A potential job offer and visiting fellowship were withdrawn. My biography was taken down from the website when I tried to assert my rights under the Equality Act (victimisation).
Every woman who’s been harassed, silenced, bullied or lost employment because of her gender critical beliefs is freer and safer today, thanks to the warrior that is

📯🎉 Tribunal awards *exemplary damages* against Social Work England for its harassment of gender critical social worker Rachel Meade.
Is the message getting though yet?
Oxfam abolishes the word "mother"
Its not inclusive says
@oxfamgb
No it's not "inclusive" it describes a specific thing. That's what words are for. 🤦♀️
BBC upholds complaint against Today's Justin Webb for saying "trans women are male"
This is absolutely nuts.
The very first step in being able to understand this issue is to work out "trans woman" and "trans man" mean.
"trans women" are male
The womb comes attached to a woman: it is not an interchangeable Lego part, a crop to be harvested, or a vessel sold to the highest bidder for rent or sale.
Like everyone else who has spoken up and paid a price, I'm wondering what the colleagues who tried to destroy my reputation to protect their own are thinking today. I'm sure no one will ever say "we were wrong" or "I'm sorry" to any of us.
Transwoman appointed CEO of endometriosis charity
@thetimes
This is a tiny charity (c £8k) but CEO will get invited to women's health forums, women's sector meetings etc..
What a great opportunity to role play and bully any women who don't play along!
Here it is: CGD are not appealing the Employment Appeal Tribunal judgment that gender critical beliefs are worthy of respect in a democratic society.
The judgment stands and is a legal precedent.
Next step: employment tribunal to hear the rest of the case.
I am very happy!
Any staff or students

It's good you are thinking about your customers and staff. Did you consult your female customers and staff? Did you consider their needs and ask them how they feel about not having female only facilities?

What did she say? She said what Dr Hillary Cass has said, what the Tavistock whistleblowers said.
Blocking children from going through puberty is what should be cancelled.
If you are a public figure thinking of speaking up now: please do it!
Don't think "Andrew Neil has done it so there is no need for me".
And don't feel bad that you didn't speak earlier (well, do, but get over that).
Unwinding this injustice is going to take some effort!

The blasphemy of "transphobia" means telling the truth that a man in a wig is not a woman.
It is cowardice and misogyny to pretend that you cannot see this.
If you stand up for freedom of speech you are going to find yourself standing on the side of people you vehemently disagree with on many things. The same if you stand up for safeguarding children. It is uncomfortable. Don't be shamed. Be proud.
@billybragg
You want to see me cry?
I've just told you I was harassed by men following me down the road shouting abuse at me. You've seen the video of them doing it.
But still it's not men harassing women because the victim didn't look right to you?
Was this role advertised
@UNWomenUK
?
What are the criteria by which you judged this to be the best person for the job?
Or did you just want to troll UK women by giving them the message that men always come first.
What a terrible statement
@TimJBlackman
-
You are "disappointed" by the judgment which held up the rights of one of your staff against appalling discrimination and harassment.
Its time to admit that you have a problem.
Congratulations to Rachel Meade - Social Worker who has won her discrimination claim against her employer, Westminster City Council and professional regulatory body Social Work England.👏
And to her legal team Naomi Cunningham &
@_ShaziaKhan
Not a single member of the fence-sitting, be kind "both sides" crew have had a word to say about this.
These are not counter-protesters to an event or a march.
This is a mob following women walking down the street shouting personal abuse and intimidation at them.
JK Rowling backs call for female only rape support in Scotland and across the UK
She welcomed

This is really quite pathetic
@labour
- hanging up curtains to hide the urinals to make "toilets for everyone" rather than recognizing that separate sex toilets are most practical for busy venues.
Women do not want to have to sit on toilet seats that men have pissed on.
Toilets in the Labour Party Conference. Not everyone is happy in this mixed sex environment with black curtains covering urinals and the floor awash with male pee.
Imagine training as hard as you possibly can only to be beaten like this

Can you imagine having gender critical views and working at Oxfam
(did you learn nothing from CGD?)
@MargaretAtwood
I am an ordinary woman who lost her job and her livelihood because someone shouted "transphobia".
The video that you are spreading accuses me of being "transphobic" based on lies and smears.
When I first stumbled into the gender debate I wondered where are the academics, where are the thinktanks, where are the regulators, where is the media, where are the politicians, where are the lawyers?
Where the people whose job it is to look at this issue calmly and carefully?
The thing is NO ONE in the chain of command who signed this off or who saw it internally raised concerns.
Either
1) they didn't see the misogyny
2) they approved of it
3) they were too scared of being labelled a TERF to say anything
This is the culture bad EDI has built
The judgment is 81 pages. It is highly fact based. I did not harass anyone and there was never a claim that I did.
This is not a license to harass people. Rather it is a recognition that in a democratic country people with different beliefs can express them and get along.
Feeling optimistic, still angry, and most of all proud to have built

How do you feel about the Muslim women and Jewish women and any woman who wants a female-only space when they are naked, changing or swimming are no longer welcome?
@PeterTatchell
Its not a blanket ban on all trans athletes. It is a blanket ban on males competing in the women's category.
Some men are smaller and weaker than the average woman. That doesn't mean they get to compete in the women's category.
So much love for

They are talking about young women, about male violence against women, about misogyny, about lesbians, and women's rights.
"This has never been about trans rights, it is about women's rights"
Employers take note: if people who think gender critical beliefs are not worthy of respect tell you to discriminate against us and you do, you could be liable.

Kellie-Jay Keen has been nothing but brave in standing up for women's rights, voicing our anger, and making a space for ordinary women to speak.

@Mark_J_Harper
No it isn't breaking the law to say that men are not women.
It is breaking the law if you fire someone because they are a transsexual.
You don't have to pretend they have actually changed sex.
@volker_turk
Do you know how insulting it is to suggest that cross-dressing men are women? It says you don't see women as full human beings, but as a costume, a stereotype, and supporting players. It's sexist nonsense dressed up in progressive tones.
Dear
@CPhilpOfficial
Male officers remain male, even if they have a GRC.
Police searching policies
@PoliceChiefs
must respect the women's rights not to be searched by male officers.
Just as the GIDS is being shut down, so too should the school propaganda pipeline promoting gender identity.
There should be an investigation of Stonewall, Gendered Intelligence, Mermaids and they should be out of schools.
The GIDS problem cannot be solved by the NHS alone.
These flags and signs on shop doors are not simple signals of welcome.
What they say is if you are sex realist you are not welcome here.
You are a second class-citizen.
You should feel uncomfortable and on edge.
Can you imagine the corporate culture in which this gets signed off?
Someone thinks it is a good idea and then every level of management that might be expected to say "no" waves it through because they are terrified of the "transphobia" finger pointing at them.
I gave a talk to the sixth form of a girls school the other day.
The girls asked good questions. They listened. Some clearly disagreed. No one cried or stormed out the room. I've heard it started some interesting conversations. 😊
"There will always be places where it is reasonable for biological women only to have access"
Lets make a list:
- female showers
- female dorms & hostels
- female changing rooms
- female toilets
- women's prisons
- women's refuges
- women's counselling groups
- women's orgs
Responsible politics isn't about doing what's easy. It’s about doing what's right.
That's why Labour will act where the Conservatives have failed by modernising, reforming and simplifying the outdated gender recognition law.
Here's how ⤵️ 🧵
I understand that. But we allowed it to happen. In my case because I had no idea such things could be done to young, vulnerable people. I feel ashamed and angry. It must be stopped.
"With glossy red hair and a plunging neckline, Rowling out-glammed them all, even as the poses got sloppier with each bottle of wine."
Can you imagine writing this sentence about this picture ...?
Can you imagine writing it about a group of male dissidents?
There was a lunch and I'm not saying I've only just sobered up enough to type this tweet but at the same time, I'm not not saying that. 💜🤍💚

Amongst all the joy today I heard heartbreaking stories - girls being transed in school, women in prison being forced to share with fully intact males.
Lots of people told me how "Forstater" has helped them at work. We must keep speaking up.
No one, but no one thought the Equality Act was giving men the right to play women's rugby.
Stonewall's idea of "inclusive" is that women don't count.
I hope this gets to court
Next tell me what I did to deserve it. Tell me what Allison Bailey did. Tell me what Kathleen Stock did. Tell me what Kate Scottow did. Tell me what Venice Allan did. Tell me what JK Rowling did
What happened to us was predictable.
Women who challenge this get punished.
In case you are wondering, Post Office was a member of Stonewall Champions and Workplace Equality Index.
I don't think these virtue signalling schemes help organisations focus on integrity, compliance and value.
So apparently the bad thing is not when a children's charity employs a man whose pornographic image is posted on Twitter, but when women raise the 🚨 and share the image
How low can this movement go?
A man who has a thing for nipple clamps making a baby suck on his nipples?
A man urging a crowd of people to punch TERFs in the face?
The slippery slope of giving away protection of women and children because a man wants something does not stop.
Also I've just been outside getting my photo taken, and three separate women walking past stopped to say congratulations and thank you.
I hope my case wakes politicians up to his many women have been let down by there unwillingness to tackle the gender bullies
