On a day when the incoming Taoiseach couldn’t have his family in attendance due to covid restrictions on travel why did Michelle O’Neill travel to Dublin ? 🧐
Hypocritical
@sinnfeinireland
reps now blaming the government for the rise in cases. I don’t recall everyone saying how great the government were for having the lowest case rates in December. It’s personal responsibility. I wonder what it would be like if they were in charge ?
Scramblers and quad bikes are death traps . Any parents who buy these for their children seriously need to question themselves . At least 3 incidents today , new legislation is badly needed ASAP.

The scenes today coming from Blanchardstown are nothing but thuggish behaviour intimidating shop workers and members of the public. Full respect to
@GardaTraffic
@gardainfo
as they try to manage the situation.Regarding the incident yesterday there is a full investigation by GSOC.
A hard day to defend government and NPHET’s decision, what is the plan in two weeks? Why has no other country in Europe been this restrictive? Do we have a different Delta ?Why can’t communion and confirmations go ahead yet weddings and funerals will have increased numbers?
While ye're all having a great laugh at ppl who can't spell remember all the far right in Ireland needed to flourish was the incompetence of FFFGGP in a pandemic, aided and abetted by a few shite hawks in the media.

@DublinAirport
at 16:30pm today. Hugely embarrassing for the main international airport on our island. There needs to be accountability at the highest level involving the Minister for Transport.
The killers of this innocent Garda doing his job were picked up by Sinn Fein T.D Martin Ferris in 2009.The same murderer was also married to a newly elected Sinn Fein T.D and recieved a standing ovation at a SF Ard Fheis.This is one of many reasons they shouldn’t be in government
A massive thank you to everyone in Finglas, Ballymun and Glasnevin for the 2042 first preference votes received today, it’s an extra special privilege to top the poll.
I look forward to working hard on your behalf for the next 5 years.
@fiannafailparty
No excuse for this kind of behaviour, I’m surprised there weren’t more arrests.Taxidrivers out struggling to get a fare having their cars trampled on by what can only be described as scumbags with no respect,No surprise to see public reps from certain parties defend the behaviour
The ASTI throwing their rattler out of the pram during very important talks on this years Leaving Certificate, if there is a lack of data for a calculated grade surely there’s a lack of teaching time completed for students to make a fair attempt at the exam?

rep on

is blaming last nights anti social antics by a minority of youths intent on causing trouble,on the housing crisis ?🙈 how about defending law and order in our country? I suppose your parties record wouldn’t be great in that area.
I think some of the TD’s looking to ‘oust’ the Taoiseach in the middle of battling a pandemic need to look a bit closer to home. They are probably the same TD’s who embarrass the party on a weekly basis leaking negativity from the PP.
Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien has hit back at Fianna Fáil leadership rival Jim O’Callaghan as war threatens to break out in the party over its disastrous by-election performance in Dublin Bay South.
The mess in UK politics is as a result of populist politics and policies that could never be delivered, which started with Brexit. Let’s hope it never happens here.

A serious decision to be made by the government in the morning, the closure of pubs serving food will be irreversible in Dublin , many will not reopen at all. We need to learn the live with the virus , pubs are not the problem.

has just voted on the Oscar Traynor Road housing land initiative. 853 new homes will be built (40% cost rental, 40% social and 20% affordable purchase) . Well done to the 36 councillors who voted in favour.

today where he met with a number fo front line agencies and attended a special meeting of our joint policing committee.
There’s an awful lot of misinformation about the price cap set on the shared equity scheme announced yesterday, which is a €75 mil measure in a 3 bil. housing budget.
@sinnfeinireland
currently have 234 paid ads on housing targeting the Dublin region alone, all started today.
The Trump politics of
@sinnfeinireland
continues. ‘Then his determination to block the progressive government for change that our people voted for’. Less than 25% of people voted for Sinn Fein, it’s up to parties to form a government. No major party wanted to govern with SF.

is just a rant by a bitter and angry old man about the largest party in the Dàil, Seanad & Local Government.
Calls from parties of the left earlier today for a blanket acceptance of NPHET’s proposals to move to level 5 just show how unfit they are to govern. They’ve never had to balance a budget, instead they demand everything for free without saying how it would be paid or by whom.
Social Democrats Co-Leader Roisin Shortall said there needs to be some easing up on restrictions to allow people meet outdoors because that would reduce the numbers currently gathering indoors. The party also wants a new detailed published vaccination plan.
A privilege to be selected as a Fianna Fáil candidate in the Finglas - Ballymun ward for the forthcoming local elections in May along with Paul McAuliffe.
A lot of hard work ahead but I look forward to giving...
I’m officially a candidate for the local elections having signed the nomination forms in Woodquay with the returning officer.

The

proposed a deferral on Oscar Traynor tni which was rejected. I then voted to reject the disposal on the issue of affordability + other issues. Giving away land for €14m and then buying social houses from the developer isn’t the way to solve a housing crisis.
On any sort of Covid19 payment and affected by the pandemic, are you protected by this act? Yes ✅
Not affected by the pandemic and not paying your rent. Are you covered by this act? No ❌
It also prohibits protections for those involved in anti social behaviour.
FF, FG & GP have just voted to strip a large group renters from protection against eviction
Protections for those in arrears due to Covid19 income loss & who are on a Covid payment will be extended for 3 months all other renters in arrears are at risk of eviction thanks to Govt
I’m officially a candidate for the local elections on June the 7th.
It has been a great privilege to represent the people of Finglas, Glasnevin and Ballymun for the past 5 years. To continue working hard on your behalf; I am asking for your number 1 vote on the 7th of June.
A very negative reaction to the household restriction judging by social media. It’s this or level 5 shortly, personal responsibility kicks in now. For the people asking why schools are open , it’s very clear the government has prioritised education over your friends coming over.
