My grandfather was an IRA quartermaster and my grandmother was a Cumann na mBan runner during the War of Independence. I don’t see why the Irish State is commemorating the RIC. It’s the same as the State commemorating the British Army. We fought a war against them.

People aged 60-64 have a seventy-times greater risk of dying from Covid-19, compared to someone aged 20-34. The idea that anyone aged 20-34 would get a vaccine before someone aged 60-64 (unless they have an underlying health condition) is immoral and unethical in my opinion.

@rtenews May 7th: Ireland was in lockdown. People were being told not to travel within Ireland. He broke rules by going from Monaghan to Swords... No one could travel; why did he think he should be allowed travel to Glasgow?

Have never understood why Irish local authorities insist on public lighting being stuck on poles taking up space on pavements. Here in Brussels they attach them to buildings and it cleans up the streetscape massively. #publicrealms #citylife #cleanstreets
