So my Grandma died this weekend. Throughout her treatment in hospital she thanked every single person who prodded & jabbed her in a bid to make her better. Unfailingly polite & grateful. A shining example of how to live life and Kindness personified。 #WorldKindnessDay #Nhs 🙏🏻

Ps. Things we’ve learnt. Get yourself an oximeter- they are vital for exposing dangerously low oxygen levels which you can have even though u feel fine with Covid. Contact your GP immediately if you have a loved one with LD & ask for your vaccine NOW!

Covid has brought with it further complications. We’re now dealing with worrying diabetes and high blood pressure issues and my parents are exhausted beyond belief. It’s so hard observing from behind a visor and mask, helpless doesn’t cover it.

I’ve just caught up on the TV drama Mr Bates vs The Post office. Oh my god. Floods of tears & fury throughout. Thank god it was made. My parents ran a village Post Office so I know that most of these sub postmasters/mistresses worked above & beyond to serve their community.

After caring for my sister in Hospital & for the long weeks after Covid, these brilliant folk let my parents stay in their cottage to recuperate. They were absolutely shattered when they went & restored afterwards. Blown away by their kindness. Thank you @Afterumbrage 🙏
