@hiyamoll_ Call the British Embassy. Simples. This is what they are for. If you’re in Cuba and you need urgent help (for example, you’ve been attacked, arrested or someone has died), call +537 214 2200. If you’re in the UK and worried about a British national in Cuba, call 020 7008 1500.

You know how everyone gets mad at how the GMC pays for private healthcare insurance for its staff as a benefit. Well, it turns out the London air ambulance does this too.

Ambulance crews. Sometimes people need to be in hospital and not appropriate to manage them in the community. You are with the patient. A phone call can't absolve you of responsibility to your patient. Don't ask us for permission to ignore sound clinical signs and symptoms.

Ambo falls responses never last. Always really good for patients and services, but they always fade into nothingness. Falls are the ambulance services single biggest call category yet so many failings in how they are responded to and dealt with, despite the evidence.
