More I watch and understand youth basketball development more I believe kids would be way better off playing 3 on 3 with smaller balls and lower goals until they are at least 13. So many bad habits develop 5 v 5 on 10ft goals. Bad shooting mechanics....lack of ball reversal etc!

@TheHoopHerald Step through is fine. What nearly everyone is missing is that he shifts/lifts his pivot foot (left foot) prior to the step through. Hard to say if a ref would catch that or call that. Technically a travel but not likely called.

@NFL_DovKleiman Anyone who thinks Brady is not in decline is in denial. Regardless of issues at Tackle he's missing simple throws and is not nearly the deep ball threat he once was. It has been masked by a incredibly soft schedule. Defense is old as well.

Watched 1st half of Sterling at Kent Denver. Pretty sure the Sterling guys are not good at video games. State football champs and a very strong basketball squad. Apparent these kids work at the game. Impressive!

Youth basketball in the 6th grade is dominated by early developing kids who will end up being 6'2 to 6'3 and are coached to play for the steal in a zone press..this will soon prove to be ineffective and they will fight for the back end roster spots on a HS team.
