Did we ever see Bears’ players talk about Trubisky’s play like they’re talking about Fields’ passes? Not looking to dredge up Trubisky animosity, but all I remember hearing was about Mitch’s leadership, work ethic, attitude. With Fields, it’s already about his play. I love it

Nobody’s going to talk about it but Eddie Jackson is having the league’s quietest DPOY season this year. Not only does he already have 3 INTs, but he’s currently 2nd on the #Bears in both solo & total tackles as a DEEP SAFETY. He’s the duct tape holding this defense together 🔥

Facing a key 2nd & 11, #Bears QB Nick Foles identified man coverage and yelled "Rub! Rub!" to Allen Robinson, scheming David Montgomery wide open against a blitz. This perfect call (and throw) basically won the Bears the game. HUGE play.

The amount of #Bears fans that hate Matt Nagy for what he's done with a bad #2 OVR pick (pile up 23 ugly wins) is outstanding to me. We realize the #Bucs are a very, very good team with a VERY good defense, yes? We scored 20 points and won from being down 13-0. That's toughness.

I think Foles' sideline spat with Matt Nagy is getting taken out of context -- when a QB knows his offense well, he usually becomes a de facto OC and "shares" play-calling duties. The fact that they're are already having these conversations is a great sign for the #Bears offense

#Bears Justin Fields is spinning out of so many clear sacks this season that fans are starting to take these plays for granted. These are WILD displays of athleticism. Fields converts a 1st down here, but similar free rushers result in 10+ yard sacks for other QBs🤷‍♂️

Allen Robinson converted more #Bears 1st downs (68) than Darnell Mooney had receptions (61) in 2020. He also generated more 1st downs than all other Bears' WRs combined (63) with less targets (151 vs 196). Robinson produced despite defensive attention. That's irreplaceable.

Fields was the best version of himself today, and he went for the jugular when the team needed him. He did PLENTY. Not his decision to kick on both 4th & 1s, not his decision not to go for 2 up 6. That’s the Head Coach.

Shane Waldron feels like confirmation that Matt Eberflus is more secure in Chicago than some have implied. Waldron clearly doesn’t see a “lame duck” HC — he had plenty of options, but chose Chicago early in the process. Chicago’s building something they intend to make last.
