In our Ward Conference yesterday our Stake President was on fire and the Spirit was palpable. In tears he was pleading with the ward to realize the urgency of the times. When I often get accused of being too intense, this was a hug from the Lord needed yesterday on the Sabbath.

I'm always blown away to see "very faithful" Latter-day Saints who are vocal and supremely confident about what is or isn't doctrine - who simultaneously demonstrate they've never read the Doctrines of Salvation or the Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith for starters.
