It’s an honour to be

The daughter of a Broxbourne bricklayer, a Labour government changed my life. I want to see the same for families here.
After 14 years of Tory failure, it's time for change.

That is so wonderful of you all. When I was in my mid20s a friend died. I was in Cardiff for work, had to make the journey back alone. I wasn't crying but must have looked absolutely devastated. A woman came over and spoke with me until her stop. I will never forget her kindness.
Excited to be on the longlist to be the
@UKLabour
parliamentary candidate for Bournemouth East!
Proud to be from Dorset, I will fight for a fairer, greener future for Bournemouth East.
If you’re a local member, it’d be great to chat.👇

I have been in denial about this, so have put off sharing this news more widely, but after 4 years, I said goodbye to

Agree. I was flashed running a while ago. Reported it directly to two police officers I saw mere minutes later, who were just a couple of streets away from the guy - obviously they were busy but total lack of interest was disappointing.
I couldn’t be more proud or excited to be joining the fantastic

PSA 📢 If you know a woman of childbearing, or indeed any age, don't just ask "so come on, why haven't you popped out any sprogs yet?". It might not be an easy answer and in any respect it definitely isn't any of your damn business.
"When we in charity sector say hard to reach what we really mean is that they don’t come to us. They don’t engage on our terms. They don’t reach us."
I grew up seeing exactly this. As a sector we must re-frame how we talk about access to our services. Thanks
@anitakntweets
Charities please stop talking about ‘hard to reach people’. Admit that you are a ‘hard to access organisation’.
Latest essay on access. And why I’m proud to be a girl from the estate.
