We moved a lot as kids so this one time my dad got transferred and we didn’t follow him immediately but before we came he asked if I wanted anything, I just said a home cooked meal. When we arrived my dad hadn’t cooked it
Also 2 years back I went home to do an internship and the first two weeks my dad promised to come and pick me up from work, on the first day this man came an hour early to closing time bought groundnut and water and waited till I was done
@Mochievous
Also learnt how cheaper it is booking same region to same region is cheaper, so for example if you book a flight from Nigeria to Senegal (English to French) it’s pricey , but if you book from Cotonou to Senegal it’s way cheaper (French to French)
@Jollz
I particularly liked how it ended, because it’s not everytime try once and succeed sometimes you will fail and then you decide how much you really want it and try again
I was at the Abuja airport trying to get another flight because I had just missed this one, and I remember a woman running into the airport screaming “there has been a plane crash” and everywhere went chaotic
Case in point - The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, most of the book was set in Morocco and the things he mentioned that are amongst the Moroccan culture, I have experienced some of it
Realised today that even when I don’t have a lover, I have never Lacked love especially on days when it supposed to be shown more , e.g. Valentines, Birthday, Christmas etc..
