Farewell to John Moylan. John worked with the AA for 35 years here in Ireland and just last year we helped him celebrate his 100th birthday. This week, John passed away peacefully in St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Thank you for the service John, and safe travels to the next place

A Status Yellow Wind Warning is now in place for all counties until tomorrow morning. A number of trees have fallen, particularly in western coastal counties. Take extra caution if you're driving tonight.

Conditions continue to deteriorate right across Kildare with heavy and deep snow drifts leaving the vast majority of routes impassable. Gardaí are advising not to travel. This was Sallins this morning. More:
Conditions remain snowy and icy across many parts of the country tonight, in particular parts of Cork, Monaghan and Cavan. Take extreme care on snow and ice and allow extra time for your journey.
On an essential journey, be extra mindful of other road users, as people spread out for social distancing.
