Many people in media & social media starting to soil themselves over “bitter” weather arriving this weekend. Remember 4°C by day and 0°C at night is not bitter by climatology standards. I remember sub zero all day in the 80s with blizzards and gales. That’s bitter.

For those who partake, this may be considered to have a slight negative impact on the quality of your breakfast tea brew, as water will boil at ~98.3°C (), which is sub-optimal for the steeping process. I wonder how many will actually notice a difference?
