Great read, a book I'd recommend to any software engineer, doesn't matter your domain. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It starts by explaining what software engineering means, and goes on with why we have to be experts in learning and managing complexity, and how we do it.

If there is one book I'd recommend to any software engineer, no matter your experience, it'd be Modern Software Engineering. This book made me question the practices I love. It's a phenomenal book that zooms out and dives deep into the meaning of good software engineering.

@TheAnkurTyagi I mean, you're a team after all tbh Juniors reading this may not feel good, just hits hard on the imposter syndrome As seniors we should happily educate our juniors and empower the team, not make them feel worse 🤷‍♂️ Ofc, if something can quickly be done through text, then cool

In my opinion, function overloading is a cool functionality in TypeScript, but I see it as an anti-pattern. - Functions having multiple responsibilities - More cognitive effort to understand "what" the function is doing Split the function into multiple ones, lessen the effort.
