2/2 not saying no one should pursue QA, cause games NEED them as they are a crucial part of the development and even after ship. It's one way to break into the industry, but not the *only* way. So pls do better and be more mindful of the state of the industry when giving advice.

@palomamcclain The irony is that people would normally aim for those studios *because* they were more financially "stable" than indies. It seems that is no longer the case, and if anything, indies (not all tho) have become the more sustainable alternative.

It's heartbreaking to see roles I'd love to apply to but require relocating to a VERY expensive city, even worse when there's been layoffs from said studio before. I'd love to work at a full-time game studio, but on-site/hybrid work would be so unsustainable and risky for me 💔

3/4 In 2022, I was able to go to GDC, although I earn minimum wage in PR, only thanks to @prgamedevs for choosing me as a scholar, and for sponsors donating money to give us stipends. @corapiki also covered so many expenses for us and she's an angel for that.
