Excited to share that @yirangs2 's work on LOCA-ULM has been published on @NatureComms ! When domain mismatch is addressed and context specific loss functions are used, DL indeed provides much better super-resolution ULM performance than existing methods.

We are thrilled to host Prof. Mark Borden who is visiting us from CU Boulder. I’m always humbled by how little I know about microbubbles after hearing Mark’s talk. Also interesting for two ultrasound guys to stand in front of one of the world’s first MRI machines for pictures.

In this paper we demonstrate the robustness of deep learning-based microbubble (MB) localization for super-resolution imaging, especially under high MB concentrations. Our results also indicate the need of temporal MB information for further improvement.
