Parenting- I said to my child, ‘Why don’t you do a PGCE? You’d be a good teacher.’ She did a PGCE, got great feedback and a job offer. A wise person (unfortunately not me) told her to go off & see the world. She’d saved her money so she has. So grateful to that person. 1/2 🧵

I’ve just been looking at Book Nooks on Etsy and I suddenly thought #WorldBookDay2021 @_Reading_Rocks_ The children could make their own Book Nooks using cereal boxes. They could do a scene from a book or their own miniature room where they would ❤️ to read. 🤔📚

Today the children were working on watercolour techniques. They produced some draft watercolours of lighthouses based on Letters From The Lighthouse by @emmac2603 They are going to refine tomorrow and produce their finished piece. A very enjoyable day.
