Shame on Messi for shaking hands with the savior of El Salvadoran safety and public culture?
Or, perhaps you enjoyed one of the highest murder rates in the world?
Hey, all of you who are piling on

Ahh, those institutions which have saved us from...what exactly?
Akshuallee, those institutions have been part and parcel of the problem.
But hey man, just gotta believe!

They REALLY don’t understand Orthodox Nationalist Russians, because they expect everyone to be of the same soul-sucking materialism as they are.

When did the Jews, whom I have nothing against on a personal basis, become an angelic superhero class?
Hey Christians — our occasional co-belligerents are NOT Christian.
Evangelicals, you have FAR more in common with your Roman Catholic neighbor than one who denies Christ.
Trump is NOT a conservative. What is left to conserve? He’s a disrupter.
Conserving the status quo would continue this clown show, trash world disaster.
May as well start a furor here, but when I listen to Trump at length he doesn't even sound all that conservative to me most of the time. Which is to say I've been exposed to right-wing idealogues all my life & he just doesn't ring those bells for me except for bursts of

You know, as well as everyone else on the Hill, that the border can be controlled TODAY without any further legislation, money, grift, or funding the kickback protection racket that is Ukraine.
Just stop the charade you hypocrite.
@ibramxk
This is rich…in this age of cancel culture chiefly directed at those of northern Euro ancestry?
I read you charitably, and I used to think I simply disagreed with you. Now I see that you were actively, purposely, maliciously misleading people.
Shame on you, and may the world

There is no “replacement”. There just isn’t an Old Covenant anymore. We have a New Covenant — which I assume you know about since you mention “Christian” and “Church”.

It isn’t about laying down, it is about the reality of the structure.
Only the States can truly oppose the Federal regime.
The States are the truly enduring citizens.
@HawleyMO
You’ll have to carry me out on a slab before I compromise my defense of the Christian people, their greatness, their history, their safety, and the Kingdom of God.
Very strange - I wonder if child Star Melissa Francis has a connection to Soros. “VIDEO: Fox News host slams on the brakes when Newt Gingrich mentions George Soros in bizarre …“
This is true, and on so many levels.
Nixon, a small-denomination Protestant, who was really right-wing as opposed to conservative, and who got rail-roaded because he refused to play ball.
So the questionable death of a Russian journalist is the level of occasion to muster political will in the USA, but the protection and well-being of actual citizens is not?
What a clown world, what an illegitimate ruling class.
A friend just messaged me in response to the news that the FBI censored American citizens at the direction of Ukraine;
“You know, the war will end someday.
Kyiv will continue shuttering churches for Pride centers.
And millions of Russian actual Christians will forever believe

Darryl Cooper’s excellent piece in the Fall ‘23 edition of the Claremont Review of Books.
Modern Israel, in neither its state nor religious guises, has anything to do with the biblical Temple cultus.
We should love people because they are created in the image of God. Not because you can’t tell the difference between a diamond and a cubic zirconium.
I have no patience for those concern trolling about the theoretically dangerous excesses of the right while the government is currently arresting doctors for opposing child mutilation

“Gay” also in that it wants to not only ignore unmistakable distinctions found in reality but also create an alternative reality where they don’t exist — making for an attraction to an unnatural “sameness”.
This is “gay” in its essence.
I saw the “He Gets Us” commercial during the Super Bowl with foot-washing as the theme.
The ad raises the question of the purpose of Jesus washing the disciples’ feet in the famous scene from the New Testament.
@AmandaTylerBJC
Completely wrong.
Christian Nationalism is driven by two simple convictions:
1. The Great Commission says that national identities and states are part of God’s redemptive plan in Christ (King) Jesus
2. That these nations/states in their telos (end goal) are to honor God.

Not enough people know about the moral and social hellhole that Weimar had become.
Once you read and see, reasons emerge; uncomfortable reasons that normal people steeped in Germanic demonizing find hard to process.

This should tell you everything. No ability to see past their own multi-generational hatred of Russia (and it was never about being anti-communist) preventing any insight into foreign policy statesmanship.
Pharisees gonna Pharisee.
THIS, not some later historical issue over “works-righteousness”, is why Jesus went to war with the Pharisees. Their honest disgust over Hellenization and the Maccabean abuses led them to a view that non-Jews were children of a lessor god.
The
What nauseates me about the activism of people like Ben is that they’re not content to demand support for Israel, but insist that everyone hate their enemies as much as they do. I don’t begrudge Shapiro his hatred. He’s Jewish, he’s a Zionist, he hates Palestinians, fine, I don’t
A friend shared this with me. I am not a “meme” account, but this simple illustration does show what everyone knows: you are being inundated with some type of morality, from the government and its proxies, continually.
@JoshDaws
So cringeworthy.
The Bible, broadly understood, is RIGHTIST.
Transcendence not materialism
Order not chaos
Covenantal bonds not atomization
Duty not radicalized “freedom”
Equality before the state not the state guaranteeing equality of outcomes

The “hate” isn’t recent, and he fundamentally changed the relationship of the states to one wholly subordinate to the “Union”. He was an Imperial President and a pen pal of Marx.
One may like what he accomplished, but he was presuppositionally anti-founding.
Tucker: "I'm sorry, Mr. Vice President. You are distressed that the Ukrainians don't have enough American tanks? Every city in the United States has become much worse over the past three years. Drive around. There's not one city that's gotten better. And it's visible. Our
Kings are necessary for diverse peoples, and Emperors for empires. To suggest a democracy can handle modern America, an empire by any historical rubric, is laughable.
The issue of mass migration strains the philosophical foundation of any state, for this reason:
Democracy and its representative flavor is made for a people with shared experiences and presuppositions, whose disagreements are procedural adiaphora.
@HwsEleutheroi
For the informed, no.
For the low-info pew-sitter; Meathead and Mr. Veggie Tales just said a working towards a culture which more reflects the character of Christ is evil.
What are the ideas underlying this ridiculous statement?
Israel isn’t even an ally.
The direction & fate of Canada and Mexico are far more important to the safety and destiny of the American people.
@KeithWoodsYT
The idea that all cultures produce equal or beneficial outcomes would be hilarious if it weren’t so destructive.
This is separate from the idea of respecting individuals as image-bearers regardless of their cultural genesis.
@SethDillon
Sympathy?
Giving historical reasons for events that happened is not sympathy.
For instance, the Pharisees had historical reasons for giving rise to the oral law tradition, and the distortions of Israel's true purpose. Talking about that would not be sympathy, but HISTORY.
@SlowToWrite
Okay, so I believed in Christ already and daily repent...now can I have public enemies like Jesus did?
This common misunderstanding of how Jesus dealt with public enmity is astonishing.
Jesus treated INDIVIDUALS with loving care, and antagonistic groups with disdain and
Protestant Christians in America are divided as hell and refuse to exercise political power, and then cry when they aren’t bowed down to?
William is exactly right here, and maybe this will be the necessary wake up call.
Being Russia’s enemy was supposed to be about communism. Yet the only time we have been allies was during the most brutal Soviet period.
That, and the current rabid anti-Russian fervor should really cause one to think, because the purpose of a system is what it does.
Many support Trump simply because he doesn’t hate them. They implicitly understand the friend/enemy distinction, yet can’t employ that same rubric against those who do wish them harm.
I would say that some deep red state should bring absurd charges against Biden before a biased right-wing judge and jury, except that the conservative jurors would, even now, “stand up for” the Constitution and the judge would probably discipline the prosecutor for abusing it.
