I did it, I'm officially employed full time, they took me on after my trial week! I've never been full time employed before! I work in production, making lanyards! :) got a 6 month contract that can be extended and I just feel so relieved it paid off! ^_^

The headless lounge is a changing area. As well as a space away from the rest of the convention, to remove fursuit heads in a safe place. The headless lounge is frequented by people using these costumes to express themselves? They need to feel safe to do that.

Many furry convention attendees are queer. LGBTQ+, transgender, gender non confirming and for many? There fursuits, costumes reflect a expression that they can only achieve at these events. To feel comfort in one’s appearance that they don’t usually have. They need privacy.

A dad thanked me today, for taking his daughters hand, and sitting with her for the fursuit group photo. It was her first time fursuiting and she is 11 with a anxiety disorder. I saw she wanted to join in, so I walked over and offered her my hand. It's the little things 💜
