Me too! Because makers undercharge there work massively, many not even making minimum wage, they work all hours God sends, many forfeit benefits from regular jobs like a steady paycheck, health insurance, pension schemes. They deserve more.

It's a premade suit that sold recently, lots of suits have sold for Largs amounts before (12/13K) But I believe this is the highest, at least that the dealers den has on record, it's not like super advanced tech wise, think it's someone with money who likes that suit so 👍

Agreed! I’d love to get suits for dirt cheap, but I would love to see the makers get paid adequately for their hard work much, MUCH more!!

I just wish I had the money to pay my maker the whole amount upfront rather than doing a payment plan so they gotta wait for it :/ Then again that is purely due to my own impatience 😅
If I had THAT kinda money for a suit I'd definitely tip the hell outta her haha

My thoughts exactly. 'Record braking' 17k - Like congrats, they deserve it. But I'm not the only one who thinks this news is a little sad too considering professional mascot costumes are usually made for about this at standard 😐Artists in general are under valued all the time

I'm struggling to advertise my suits and I've just offered foam bases for £200. That's £10 an hour and £30 to cover materials if I can get it done in four days. Got told they could get it for £40 from someone else -_-
