A minor point - we shouldn't be abbreviating this to ESL. It's not a European Super League, it's The Super League. They've purposely left the European bit out so they can play matches in Qatar and Beijing or invite Inter Miami to take part. Location is irrelevant to a TV show.

Benjamin Zephaniah was everything that always makes me proud to be a Brummie. Brave, generous, thoughtful, loyal, unashamed of his accent! The irony that he has passed on a day when a brown Prime Minister is trying to force through hateful immigration laws couldn't be more stark.
