#Gaza
: Israel’s flooding of tunnels with saltwater could have severe adverse human rights impacts, some long term. Goods indispensable to civilian survival could also be at risk, as well as widespread, long-term & severe environmental damage. Civilians must be protected.
In the last 7 days Jeremy Corbyn has tweeted about Israel 5 times.
He is yet to tweet anything about China passing a sweeping law suppressing the rights of the people of Hong Kong to speak and protest freely.
Corbyn’s nasty little temper when presented with legitimate questions paired with his admiration for dictators gives us a small glimpse at a Corbyn leadership. Dangerous.
What a photo. 💙
Women leading in politics, there on merit, and no shortlists. My children’s generation don’t see what the fuss is about- and that’s fantastic because it means things are really changing.
Labour has so far to go.
Gary Lineker quietly removed the tweet calling for Israel to be removed from international sport after Hamas affiliated Quds News Network promoted it on their feed.
The UK taxpayer should not be paying this man’s salary.
@BBC
As a child I wanted to be a boy. Not because I felt like a boy, but because the best characters on tv (back then) were boys and I did not like dolls. I’m glad no one made it weird and I was just allowed to be a child with an adventurous imagination.
Owen Jones watched the harrowing footage released with permission of the victim’s families.
He disputes it saying there’s no live footage of rape, torture and baby beheadings. He takes Hamas-run Health Ministry statements, however, on their word.
Spitting the words ‘Nazi Scum’ at anyone you politically disagree with, shows no understanding of who the Nazi’s were, what they stood for or how they came to power. The left need to stop using it to shutdown debate. It’s an insult to every life they took.
Sadiq Khan pledged to:
Freeze rail fares -He didn't.
Tackle knife crime -He didn't.
Stop taxing londoners for the olympics. -He didn't & still does.
Stop strikes on tfl. -He didn't.
Plant more trees. -He hasn't.
50% affordable new housing -Not even close.

The Kindertransport memorial stands on the forecourt of Liverpool St. Station. It commemorates the 10,000 Jewish children who escaped Nazi persecution arriving at the station. Many never saw their parents again.
Jewish friend at station tonight told me they felt intimidated.
At 18 I worked as a waitress. My shifts ended at 11.30pm but I was never out before midnight. Under Labour’s bill, I wouldn’t have been able to get home.
Banning young people from driving at night will isolate them from jobs which fit around studying, and impact local economies.
@kimleadbeater
's Graduate Driving License bill will have its second reading on May 17th.
I fully support this bill and
@owe65332
with her petition to push for Graduate Driving Licenses.
You can find the petition below:
Can’t get oil to heat my home, and now all my local petrol stations are empty. The protesters chaining themselves to oil pipes might think they’re doing it for their future children but they’ve got NO concept of what it means to have to provide for children.
This is not the way.
Corbyn wasn’t unchartered territory for Labour. He’d been an MP since 1983 and they knew who he was. Those claiming they didn’t, still watched their Jewish colleagues bullied out of the party they loved. You knew.
Apologise to them.
The best day in politics was the day this man LOST. I wasn’t going to watch but someone sent me this.
@piersmorgan
NAILED HIM.
Corbyn is everything we said he was.
And I won’t forget the people who tried to make him PM x2, at the expense of British Jews.
Just for context this is the FIRST post BBC Breaking put on their feed this morning regarding Israel.
THE FIRST.
Not elderly being executed in the street.
Not families being kidnapped.
Not 2500 rockets fired into Israel…
THIS. This was first.
Israel is using stun grenades, tear gas, water cannons and rubber bullets against protesting civilians throwing rocks, how dare they use excessive force, oh no... wait, no... my mistake. That’s France. As you were.
He castrated a teenage boy. Cut his eyes out and tortured him for three days before murdering him.
This isn’t an advocate for Palestinian rights, this is a terrorist.
Palestinian Ex-detainee Rushdi Abu Mokh visits his mother’s grave, immediately after spending 35 years behind the Israeli bars. His mother passed away after 33 years of longing to reunite her son, only 2 years before the end of his sentence.
Shoes on the Danube Bank.👞
A poignant memorial for the victims, including 800 Jews, murdered here in Budapest during WWII.
They were ordered to take off their shoes & were shot at the edge of the water. The cast iron shoes represent the ones left behind on the river bank.
He kidnapped a teenager, held him hostage for two days, gouged out his eyes, castrated him, mutilated his body before finally shooting him in the chest.
I don’t know where you’re tweeting this from, but you’d go to prison for that sort of thing in most countries…
The death in custody of Walid Daqqa, a 62-year-old Palestinian writer who was the longest-serving Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jails after 38 years of imprisonment, is a cruel reminder of Israel’s disregard for Palestinians’ right to life ⬇️
Zarah has continuously posted about the Israel/Gaza conflict.
She is yet to mention:
I) the hostages .
II) Hamas.
III) the atrocities of Oct 7.
The point makes itself…
The Israeli military are using British-made weapons to massacre Palestinians in Gaza.
This is a moral travesty, which is why I have introduced a Bill to Parliament that would end these arms sales.
I explain the Bill in
@tribunemagazine
:
@AuschwitzMuseum
I unfollowed you after your disgraceful endorsement of Israel’s extermination, ethnic cleansing & genocide of Palestinians. The museum should be ashamed of itself.
Never again means never again for anyone. You’re an embarrassment to humanity.
My commitment to ending injustice
Corbynites continue to email the company I work for because I speak openly about Labour’s antisemitism problem. This is the level of bullying and intimidation coming from Labour. Andrew, you’re wasting your time, it’s my husbands company. We built it together.
This is the problem.
We’ve had months of being told that calling for the destruction of the Jewish state is only unlawful in certain contexts. Jihad has other meanings. Intifada has other meanings.
Jews are afraid. Our MP’s are afraid.
And the Met is STILL doing this.
BBC Essex has learned the

branch of Jamie's Italian restaurant will close on 12 March. It's one of a dozen being shut down by

chef Jamie Oliver around the UK - he says high rent, business rates and

uncertainty are to blame.
Genuinely worried we’re waiting for something bad to happen before anyone is motivated to have a REAL discussion about this.
Terrifying time for Jews right now.
YOU attended a ceremony honouring a Munich terrorist.
YOU called Hamas and Hezbollah ‘friends’.
YOU defended a vicar who suggested the Jews did 9/11.
YOU praised and supported Raed Salah.
YOU call holocaust deniers ‘friends.’
YOU defended the mural.
YOU are intolerable...
Labour is an anti-racist party and I utterly condemn antisemitism, which is why as leader of the Labour Party I want to be clear that I will not tolerate any form of antisemitism that exists in and around our movement.
Almost 4000 Palestinians were brutally murdered in Syria. Mostly civilians. Almost 500 killed during torture. As of July 2020 over 2500 are still detained or missing.
[Syrian Network for Human Rights].
Where were you all? Seriously.
The statement from IDF reads: Our forces include medical teams and Arabic speakers so they can help.
What the
@BBC
reads is the IDF targets medical teams and Arabic speakers.
Absolutely outrageous.
@Ofcom
The post caused dismay among BBC staff. One raised concerns that it would be “bloody awful” for any Jewish colleagues that have to work with Lineker. “It’s pretty shit for any Jew having to work with quite a few folk here right now,” they added.
We were hoping to have an interview with the Prime Minister - as is traditional at party conferences over the last three decades."
"Sadly that was not to be."
I am so proud that our party has elected the first ever ethnic minority leader of a political party anywhere in the UK.
I also want to pay tribute to
@MonicaLennon7
for running a positive, passionate campaign and I know she will continue to be a forceful advocate for change.

@JustStop_Oil
block a newborn baby going to hospital. They show no compassion for the distressed mother. What will it take for these people to be arrested?
The thing is, Keir Starmer could’ve easily condemned violence on both sides and called for calm and diplomacy.
He didn’t. Whilst Israeli civilians sit in bomb shelters he asked ISRAEL to respect international law. No condemnation for the terrorist organisation launching rockets.
@afneil
I remember sitting in my shelter in 2014 and listening to the Iron Dome shooting down rockets during a “ceasefire”. BBC said nothing. Eventually the IDF would retaliate and THEN the BBC would headline “ceasefire broken as Israel strikes Gaza”.
Everyone who lives there, knows.
Chris Williamson accuses BBC of being an enemy of Corbyn, whilst being utterly unable to deny Corbyn laid a wreath for Black September... then rolls into an anti-Israel rant. I can’t believe this is Britain.
#NewsNight
Over 3000 people stood in solidarity with British Jews on Parliament Square this afternoon, thank you to every single one of them. 🙏
#SolidarityWithBritishJews
Been social distancing since March. Today I broke it to join the
#BlackLivesMattter
demo outside Parliament and take a knee with thousands of brave young people calling for Justice.
Labour can’t keep the moderate statesman act up for very long without sliding back. This isn’t a party ready for leadership, I couldn’t even call them childish, because I’ve never known a child behave like this.
Labour is nasty, divisive and dishonest. It’s anything for power…
A win for Susan Hall and the Conservatives is a win for racists, white supremacists and Islamophobes the world over.
Susan Hall’s campaign has been fought from the gutter with dangerous and divisive politics.
London, we cannot let her win. Vote Sadiq.
