The secret behind this graph is the taming of energy Once humanity figured out how to use energy to feed machinery, life threatening poverty became a manageable problem, first in the West and then elsewhere "Energy is life" ( @DoombergT ) - and no energy will be misery and death.

Rapid mass-immigration destroys social cohesion, trust, and diminishes social capital. The empirical record has been clear on this for 30 years - and we have increased instead of decreased immigration. Without social capital, you cannot have a flourishing & functioning country.

From the UK to Germany, Islamism is rapidly becoming the most existential threat to Europe's future. It is surprising that the same people constantly warning about Russian tanks rolling into Paris, London, or Berlin have nothing to say about the enemy that is already here.

There is a tendency in Europe to blame the US whenever they screw up. But there is no plan by the US to destroy Germany -they do it to themselves. Green madness, taxation, abolishing nuclear, banning fracking, disincentivizing research, failed migration policies. All homemade.

If Europe is losing its fossil fuel powered export industries (e.g. Germany's automobile industry) it won't have enough revenue to buy all the components to build wind&solar farms. There is no short term transition away from fossil fuels, and whoever claims there is lies to you.

Not surprisingly, almost all German media uncritically repeated the "Bloodbath" hoax. Keep in mind, it's always those who ramble on about "saving democracy" who are most willing to lie to you. They don't care about democracy, only about staying in power.

Contrary to what Scholz and Habeck think, deindustrialization will continue if the entire German energy policy is not switched from a policy of primary energy scarcity to one of abundance. It will have its downsides (all policies do), but the alternatives are worse.

Finland and Sweden are both great countries. Whether to admit them to a military alliance, though, is not about what one thinks of them. Rather, it's about security considerations. Accordingly, the United States should evaluate their admission to NATO on a cost-benefit basis. 1/
