Michigan is becoming one of four new Workforce Hubs. 🇺🇸
Today, I joined
@VP
in Detroit to announce $100 million to spark even more economic opportunities in Motor City and across the U.S.
For Michigan, this means growing the manufacturing workforce with good-paying union jobs to electrify the auto industry with American-made parts.

Minnesota’s clean energy future is bright!
“It’s the fourth straight year that the majority of energy resources in Minnesota come from wind, solar, & even nuclear power.”
We’re harnessing the power of artificial intelligence. 💻⚡️
Spearheaded by our National Labs and our supercomputing facilities, DOE is well positioned to utilize AI research and resources to practical solutions that enhance our nation’s electric grid.
We’re ushering in a just and equitable energy transition—one community at a time.
Today, we announced $26.9 million for energy efficiency or clean energy projects to meet the needs of communities in 9 states, 27 cities, and 1 Tribe.
🚗 Purchasing & driving an electric vehicle is becoming more accessible.
Our Grid Deployment Office chatted with
@zeta_2030
on how we can collaborate to bolster our infrastructure, make way for the EV evolution, and expand access to charging stations.
We’ve finalized energy-efficiency standards for residential water heaters to save American households nearly $7.6B yearly while cutting energy waste and carbon pollution.

With over $78M, we’re funding 19 projects across 12 states and 13 Tribal nations to develop and deploy sustainable clean energy solutions and expand access to reliable and affordable energy in rural and remote communities across the nation.
Communities deserve to have clean, reliable, affordable power when and where they need it.
But over the past decade, transmission lines in the U.S. have been built at half the rate of the previous 3 decades.
We’re working to speed this up and connect more people to power.⚡️
This Administration is doing everything we can to get more power to more people, in more places.
Today, I announced new permitting reforms that will halve the time needed to add new transmission lines and help upgrade 100,000 miles of lines over the next five years.
