@HazelAppleyard_ I’m a mother who is currently an exclusive pumper. This means I pump 100% of the breastmilk I give my baby and, in my case, he doesn’t receive formula. I would be so mad if *anyone* took away the food I give my baby. It’s not unlimited!

@mckaylasbooks I’m so glad this worked out for you, but I had a big baby that got stuck and he would have died without the NICU team using a CPAP on him to get him breathing once he was out. He also had a small fracture on his collar bone from my pubic bone. Home birth is not the safest pick.

Taking the same last name is unifying for a family. The tradition of taking the man’s last name started because it’s obvious the child is hers when she gives birth, but paternity is less obvious. So, the child was given the father’s name. Its not an equality issue. Not that deep.

@1901elina_ Protestants don’t believe you can just keep sinning. We believe these two things: A) We all fall short. It’s in our nature but faithful believers don’t lose salvation over that. B) Works are fruits of faith. If you are truly faithful and love Him, you will follow Him.

@reformedstateom @DawnHulot Sleep training is not discipline. Disciplining an infant is always abusive and evil because they don’t understand. If all he did was sleep training, that’s fine. But the context makes it hard to believe that’s what he actually meant.

@theclassicwife My husband and I used that map to find our current apartment a few years ago, but now we’re looking to buy a house and it’s been so frustrating to have to try to look up areas and compare crime reports. Removing that was so ridiculous!

@theclassicwife I’m actually a firm believer in every child needs a room. I can’t function without some private alone time each day, and neither can most of our family, so I’m sympathetic to it. That being said, I too would much rather six to a room than kill in the womb!
