Do you know how Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu widened the tax net and raised IGR in Lagos? I was born in Yaba but grew up in Ilorin so I was familiar with Otunba Adekanola. He was a tax consultant who collected taxes on behalf of several states including Lagos, Rivers and Kaduna.

@Osi_Suave The truth is Makoko is organized chaos. I know of 14 baales in that slum. I have personally visited 4 of them. There are different groups you must settle to have interventions which swallow resources. Plus most interventions by government or NGOs are shallow and not holistic.

Also, Baba Akande, apart from being older and more experienced has always been Tinubu's poltical leader from the AD to the ACN and now the APC. It doesn't diminish Tinubu's relevance or ambition.

Took loans from GTB to buy houses abroad which Kwara State paid. Slashed budget for Lagos-Ibadan, Oyo-Ogbomosho expressways. He truly grows economies.
