The OWHA is pleased to announce its roster of players and staff that will leave for Japan on February 24th, to participate in a series of games against the U16 Women's Team Japan.
OWHA is working with others to provide hockey experiences at some time in the future in a manner that supports safety. Please watch the OWHA web site for updates.
Hockey Canada Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel all Hockey Canada sanctioned activities effective midnight tonight. This includes all OWHA practices, games, activities and provincials.

Hazel McCallion was a valued contributor to the OWHA and womenβs hockey for over 40 years. She met OWHA president, Fran Rider, in the 1970βs and they became close friends who shared the goal of growing the credibility and numbers in the game.
Congratulations to the 14 players from the OWHA represented on U18 Team Canada! They started the Women's World Championship off strong with a 8-0 win against Finland.

We are saddened that Marian "Mern" Coveny passed away at 3pm today (her hockey #) after a courageous battle with cancer. We treasure the legacy she left as a hockey star and leader. As Team Canada captain at 1987 World Tournament, she led female hockey to world stage. Thanks Mern
