As a primary special interest I've spent a vast amount of time since January 2020 learning about SARS-CoV-2 & COVID. So, please consider that fact when I say - I am FAR more concerned about COVID now than I was then. Almost all the research shows It's Really Bad, Actually™️ .

Followed closely by alarms and getting things together ahead of time, e.g. laying out work clothes the night before, packing 3 days ahead of a trip.

One thing that contributes to the invisiblization of the COVID pandemic, in addition to anti-mask peer pressure, is that cautious & vulnerable people stay home. #LongCovid afflictees stay home. The dead stay in the ground. RN public sphere is a masterclass in Survivorship Bias.

If I were to be shot I would prefer to have body armor on. Maybe it saves me. If I was wounded I'd want to get medical care. Maybe it saves me. Ideally tho I'd avoid getting shot and needing saving in the first place... This is a tweet about masks, vaxx, & isolation.

@forgotme34 Survivorship bias is a cognitive distortion that gives undue weight to what has made it through and discounts what was lost. People look around and see "normal" but the illusion is only maintained by disregarding the unseen suffering people. p.s. I appreciate your response 🙂

I don't care what #Adderall does to the neurotypical brain. Not how it makes NTs feel, your opinion on addictive risk, etc. ADHD meds are the most effective in mental health & ppl can be on the same dose for years cuz it's not addictive for them as it fixes a chemical deficit!

People who don't have ADHD need to STFU about Adderall. Your jokes aren't funny to us and are straight up ignorant. I was diagnosed later in life and Adderall changed my life. For the better. You have NO idea what it's like to live with this.

@FinchTH RN IDGAF about COVID's origin TBH. I just want us to take it seriously and implement effective protections. After we've actually stabilized the situation then whatever, go hunt for blame, but for now we need to mitigate the damage being wrought 😔😔😔
