@mattyglesias There’s a lot of discourse that correctly observes the many negative impacts of social media in the last 10 years. This seems a standout case of social media doing a solidly good thing: increasing scrutiny and reducing harmful, biased behavior.

My #1 thought post-Oppenheimer was that no movie should be three hours long. It irked me even more after seeing Barbie (1.5 hr). The fact that there was a full hour left after the explosion was painful.

@OsitaNwanevu I think this is a pretty classic essay prompt for a class on the American Presidency. I think GPT-4's essay was graded too leniently (yes, Harvard grade inflates!) but if you hold such an evaluation to a higher standard it's a cool exercise.
