For some of us, at least 40 yrs ago, it was a way to gain confidence in reasoning & speaking skills in a new country & a new language. The first officiating bias is for the home team. The home court advantage is a huge problem across sports. Hometown crowds put pressure on referees to make calls for the home team. This is the #1 cause of the advantage, not travel, scheduling, arenas, etc.

@OsitaNwanevu I think this is a pretty classic essay prompt for a class on the American Presidency. I think GPT-4's essay was graded too leniently (yes, Harvard grade inflates!) but if you hold such an evaluation to a higher standard it's a cool exercise.
